Send down tranquillity upon us when trial comes upon us.
And change our distress."

He says: So he threw himself down (from his mount) and said:
'Allahumma lawla anta mahtadayna, wa la tasaddaqna wa la sallayna' (O Allah, had it not been for You, we would not have been guided, nor would we have given charity or prayed).
'Fa-anzilan sakinatan alayna, wa thabbit al-aqdama in laqayna' (So send down tranquillity upon us, and keep our feet firm when we meet the enemy).

The narrator said: They hurried until they reached him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the greeting of peace. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Which people are you?" A man said: O Messenger of Allah! I was the first to sing huda to camels in the Jahiliyyah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How was that?" He said: A man of ours raided some camels and drove them off. He kept telling his slave (or his hired man): Gather them together. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) began to laugh.
