«أيما رجل أفلس ووجد رجل سلعته عنده بعينها فهو أولى بها من غيره»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any man who becomes bankrupt, and a (creditor) finds his very own goods with him, he has more right to it (to take back the goods) than other people (the other creditors)."

«أيما رجل أم قوما وهم له كارهون لم تجز صلاته أذنيه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any man who leads people in prayer while they dislike him (because of some Shari'ah defect), his prayer does not rise above his ears (that is, it does not attain the honour of acceptance)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any man who sells some goods, then finds his very own goods with the man (the buyer) who has become bankrupt, and he (the seller) had not received anything of its price, then the goods are his. And if he had received some part of its price, then he will be treated (with regard to the remaining goods) the same as the other creditors."

«أيما رجل باع متاعا فأفلس الذي ابتاعه ولم يقبض الذي باعه من ثمنه شيئا فوجد متاعه بعينه فهو أحق به وإن مات المشتري فصاحب المتاع أسوة الغرماء»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any man who sells some goods, then the buyer becomes bankrupt, and the seller had not received anything of its price, then he finds his very own goods present, he has the most right to it (to take it back). But if the buyer dies, then the owner of the goods will be treated the same as the other creditors."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any man who takes a loan while firmly intending not to repay it will meet Allah Almighty as a thief."

«أيما رجل خرج يفرق بين أمتي فاضربوا عنقه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any man who comes out and tries to create division among my Ummah (that is, to spread discord), strike his neck."

«أيما رجل ظلم شبرا من الأرض كلفه الله تعالى أن يحفره حتى يبلغ آخر سبع أرضين ثم يطوقه يوم القيامة حتى يقضى بين الناس»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any man who wrongfully seizes even a hand-span of land, Allah Almighty will oblige him to dig it until he reaches the bottom of the seventh earth; then on the Day of Resurrection it will be made a collar around his neck until judgement is passed between the people."

«أيما رجل عاهر بحرة أو أمة فالولد ولد زنا لا يرث ولا يورث»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any man who commits fornication with a free woman or a slave woman, the child born of it will be called a child of fornication (walad al-zina); he will neither inherit (from anyone) nor will anyone inherit from him."

"أيما رجل قام إلى وضوئه يريد الصلاة ثم غسل كفيه نزلت خطيئته من كفيه مع أول قطرة فإذا غسل وجهه نزلت خطيئته من سمعه وبصره مع أول قطرة فإذا غسل يديه إلى المرفقين ورجليه إلى الكعبين سلم من كل ذنب هو له ومن كل خطيئة كهيئته يوم ولدته أمه ¤ فإذا قام إلى الصلاة رفعه الله عز وجل بها درجة وإن قعد قعد سالما"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any man who stands up to perform ablution intending to pray, then washes his hands, the sins of his hands fall away with the very first drop of water; then when he washes his face, the sins of his ears and eyes fall away with the very first drop; then when he washes his arms up to the elbows and his feet up to the ankles, he becomes free of every sin and error of his, just as he was on the day his mother gave birth to him. Then if he stands for prayer, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, raises him a degree by it (the prayer), and if he sits, he sits in safety."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any man who touches his private part should perform ablution, and any woman who touches her private part should (also) perform ablution."

«أيما رجل مسلم أعتق رجلا مسلما فإن الله تعالى جاعل وقاء كل عظم من عظامه عظما من عظام محرره من النار وأيما امرأة أعتقت امرأة مسلمة فإن الله تعالى جاعل وقاء كل عظم من عظامها عظما من عظام محررتها من النار يوم القيامة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any Muslim man who frees a Muslim man, Allah Almighty will make one bone of the slave he freed a means of protection from the Fire of Hell for every bone of his (the freer). And any Muslim woman who frees a Muslim woman, Allah Almighty will, on the Day of Resurrection, make one bone of the slave woman she freed a means of protection from the Fire of Hell for every bone of hers."
"Any Muslim man who frees a Muslim man, Allah Almighty will make one bone of the slave he freed a means of protection from the Fire of Hell for every bone of his (the freer). «أيما رجل مسلم أكفر رجلا مسلما فإن كان كافرا وإلا كان هو الكافر»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any Muslim man who calls a Muslim man a disbeliever: if he is truly a disbeliever (then so be it); otherwise, the one who said it will himself become the disbeliever."

«أيما رجل من أمتي سببته سبة أو لعنته لعنة في غضبي فإنما أنا من ولد آدم أغضب كما تغضبون وإنما بعثني الله رحمة للعالمين فأجعلها عليهم صلاة يوم القيامة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any man of my Ummah whom I have reviled or cursed in a state of anger, then I am also one of the children of Adam; I become angry just as you become angry. And Allah Almighty has sent me as a mercy to all the worlds, so on the Day of Resurrection I will make it (that harsh speech) a mercy and a supplication in their favour."

«أيما صبي حج ثم بلغ الحنث فعليه أن يحج حجة أخرى وأيما أعرابي حج ثم هاجر فعليه أن يحج حجة أخرى وأيما عبد حج ثم أعتق فعليه أن يحج حجة أخرى»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any child who performs Hajj and then reaches puberty must perform another Hajj; and any Bedouin who performs Hajj and then migrates must perform another Hajj; and any slave who performs Hajj and then is freed must (also) perform another Hajj."

"أيما ضيف نزل بقوم فأصبح الضيف محروما فله أن ¤ يأخذ بقدر قراه ولا حرج عليه"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any guest who stays with a people and wakes in the morning deprived (that is, he was not given hospitality), has the right to take from them the amount of his hospitality, and there is no sin upon him."

«أيما عبد أبق من مواليه فقد كفر حتى يرجع إليهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any slave who runs away from his masters has committed disbelief (ingratitude) until he returns to them."

«أيما عبد أصاب شيئا مما نهى الله عنه ثم أقيم عليه حده كفر الله ذلك الذنب»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any servant who commits something of what Allah has forbidden, and then the prescribed punishment (hadd) for it (the crime) is carried out upon him, Allah Almighty makes it an expiation for that sin of his."

«أيما عبد تزوج بغير إذن أهله فهو عاهر»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any slave who marries without the permission of his masters is a fornicator."

«أيما عبد كاتب على مائة أوقية فأداها إلا عشرة أواق فهو عبد وأيما عبد كاتب على مائة دينار فأداها إلا عشرة دنانير فهو عبد»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any slave who makes a contract of manumission (mukatabah) for one hundred uqiyah (of silver) and pays all of it except ten uqiyah, he is (still) a slave; and any slave who makes a contract of manumission for one hundred dinars and pays the rest except ten dinars, he is (also still) a slave."

«أيما عبد مات في إباقه دخل النار وإن كان قتل في سبيل الله تعالى»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any slave who dies while in a state of running away will enter the Fire, even if he was killed in the path of Allah Almighty."

«أيما قرية أتيتموها وأقمتم فيها فسهمكم فيها وأيما قرية عصت الله ورسوله فإن خمسها لله ولرسوله ثم هي لكم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any town that you come to and stay in, you have your share in it; and any town that disobeys Allah and His Messenger, then indeed one fifth (khums) of it is for Allah and His Messenger, and then the rest is all for you."

«أيما قوم جلسوا فأطالوا الجلوس ثم تفرقوا قبل أن يذكروا الله تعالى أو يصلوا على نبيه كانت عليهم ترة من الله إن شاء عذبهم وإن شاء غفر لهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any people who sit in a gathering, and after sitting for a long time they disperse before remembering Allah Almighty and sending blessings upon His Prophet, it will be a cause of regret and loss for them from Allah; if Allah wills He will punish them, and if He wills He will forgive them."

«أيما مسلم رمى بسهم في سبيل الله فبلغ مخطئا أو مصيبا فله من الأجر كرقبة أعتقها من ولد إسماعيل وأيما رجل شاب في سبيل الله فهو له نور وأيما رجل أعتق رجلا مسلما فكل عضو من المعتق بعضو من المعتق فداء له من النار وأيما رجل قام وهو يريد الصلاة فأفضى الوضوء إلى أماكنه سلم من كل ذنب وخطيئة هي له فإن قام إلى الصلاة رفعه الله تعالى بها درجة وإن رقد رقد سالما»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any Muslim who shoots an arrow in the path of Allah, whether it misses or hits the target, for him is a reward equal to freeing a slave from the descendants of Isma'il. And any man who grows old in the path of Allah, it (his old age) will be a light for him. And any man who frees a Muslim man, every limb of the freer becomes a ransom for him from the Fire of Hell in return for every limb of the freed one. And any man who stands intending to pray and washes the limbs of ablution properly, he becomes free of every sin and error of his; then if he stands for prayer, Allah Almighty will raise him a degree because of it, and if he sleeps, he will sleep in a state of safety."

«أيما مسلم شهد له أربعة بخير أدخله الله الجنة أو ثلاثة أو اثنان»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any Muslim for whom four people bear witness to goodness, Allah Almighty will admit him into Paradise, and (likewise if) three or two (bear witness, he will enter Paradise)."

«أيما مسلمين التقيا فأخذ أحدهما بيد صاحبه فتصافحا وحمدا الله تعالى جميعا تفرقا وليس بينهما خطيئة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Any two Muslims who meet, and one of them takes his companion's hand, and they shake hands and together praise Allah Almighty, they will part in such a state that no sin remains between them."

«أيها الناس اتقوا الله وأجملوا في الطلب فإن نفسا لن تموت حتى تستوفي رزقها وإن أبطأ عنها فاتقوا الله وأجملوا في الطلب خذوا ما حل ودعوا ما حرم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O people! Fear Allah and be moderate in seeking provision, for no soul will die until it has received its provision in full, even if it is delayed. So fear Allah and be moderate in seeking provision: take what is lawful and leave what is unlawful."

"أيها الناس إذا كان هذا اليوم فاغتسلوا ¤ وليمس أحدكم أفضل ما يجد من دهنه وطيبه"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O people! When this day (that is, Friday) comes, take a bath, and each of you should apply the best oil and perfume that he can find."

«أيها الناس إن الله طيب لا يقبل إلا طيبا وإن الله أمر المؤمنين بما أمر به المرسلين فقال: {يَا أَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوا مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحاً إِنِّي بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ} وقال: {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُلُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ} . ثم ذكر الرجل يطيل السفر أشعث أغبر يمد يديه إلى السماء: يا رب يا رب! ومطعمه حرام ومشربه حرام وملبسه حرام وغذي بالحرام فأنى يستجاب لذلك»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O people! Indeed Allah is pure and He accepts nothing but what is pure. And indeed Allah has commanded the believers with the same thing that He commanded the messengers, for He said: 'O messengers! Eat of the good things and do righteous deeds; indeed I am All-Knowing of what you do.' [Surah al-Mu'minun: 51] And He said: 'O you who believe! Eat of the good things that We have provided for you.' [Surah al-Baqarah: 172] Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned a man who travels a long journey, his hair dishevelled and his body covered in dust; he stretches out his hands towards the sky, saying: O my Lord! O my Lord! while his food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothing is unlawful, and he has been nourished with the unlawful. So how can the supplication of such a person be answered!"

«أيها الناس إنه قد كان لي فيكم إخوة وأصدقاء وإني أبرأ إلى الله أن يكون لي فيكم خليل ولو كنت متخذا من أمتي خليلا لاتخذت أبا بكر خليلا وإن ربي اتخذني خليلا كما اتخذ إبراهيم خليلا ألا إن من كان قبلكم كانوا يتخذون قبور أنبيائهم وصالحيهم مساجد ألا فلا تتخذوا القبور مساجد إني أنهاكم عن ذلك»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O people! I have indeed had many brothers and friends among you, and I declare before Allah that I am free of having any of you as my khalil (intimate friend). And if I were to take anyone from my Ummah as a khalil, I would certainly have taken Abu Bakr as a khalil. And indeed my Lord has taken me as His khalil just as He took Ibrahim (peace be upon him) as His khalil. Listen! Those before you used to take the graves of their prophets and righteous people as places of prostration (mosques). Beware! Do not take graves as places of prostration; I strictly forbid you from that."

«أيها الناس إنه لم يبق من مبشرات النبوة إلا الرؤيا الصالحة يراها المسلم أو ترى له ألا وإني نهيت أن أقرأ القرآن راكعا أو ساجدا فأما الركوع فعظموا فيه الرب وأما السجود فاجتهدوا في الدعاء فقمن أن يستجاب لكم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O people, nothing remains of the glad tidings of prophethood except the true dream, which a Muslim sees himself or which is seen for him. Listen! I have been forbidden to recite the Qur'an while bowing or prostrating. So in bowing (ruku'), proclaim the greatness of your Lord, and in prostration, strive hard in supplication, for it is worthy of being accepted for you."

«أيها الناس عليكم بالقصد عليكم بالقصد فإن الله تعالى لا يمل حتى تملوا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O people, hold fast to the middle way (moderation), hold fast to moderation, for Allah Almighty does not grow weary (of rewarding) until you grow weary (of doing deeds)."

«أيها الناس قد تركت فيكم ما إن أخذتم به لن تضلوا: كتاب الله وعترتي أهل بيتي»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O people, I have left among you two things such that if you hold firmly to them you will never go astray: one is the Book of Allah, and the other is my family ('itrah), that is, the people of my household."

«أيها الناس ما زال بكم صنيعكم حتى ظننت أن سيكتب عليكم فعليكم بالصلاة في بيوتكم فإن خير صلاة المرء في بيته إلا الصلاة المكتوبة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O people, this practice of yours (that is, gathering behind me at night for voluntary prayer) continued until I began to fear that it might be made obligatory upon you. So make it your practice to pray in your homes, for the best prayer of a person is in his home, except the obligatory prayer."

«أيها الناس لا تتمنوا لقاء العدو واسألوا الله العافية فإذا لقيتموهم فاصبروا واعلموا أن الجنة تحت ظلال السيوف اللهم منزل الكتاب ومجري السحاب وهازم الأحزاب اهزمهم وانصرنا عليهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O people, do not wish to meet the enemy, and ask Allah for well-being. But when you do face them, stand firm, and know that Paradise lies beneath the shade of the swords." (Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated:) 'Allahumma munzil al-kitab, wa mujri as-sahab, wa hazim al-ahzab, ihzimhum wansurna 'alayhim' (O Allah, Revealer of the Book, Mover of the clouds and Defeater of the confederates, defeat them and grant us victory over them)."

(Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated:) 'Allahumma munzil al-kitab, wa mujri as-sahab, wa hazim al-ahzab, ihzimhum wansurna 'alayhim' (O Allah, Revealer of the Book, Mover of the clouds and Defeater of the confederates, defeat them and grant us victory over them)."
«الآخذ والمعطي سواء في الربا»

«الآن نغزوهم ولا يغزونا»
