It is narrated from al-Suddi; he said: I asked Murrah about this saying of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic: "And there is none of you except he will come to it (Hell)" [Surah Maryam: 71], and he told me that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to them that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "People will come to Hell (that is, pass over the Sirat), then they will depart (cross) from it according to their deeds. The first of them will pass like a flash of lightning, then like the wind, then like a swift horse, then like a rider on his camel saddle, then like a man running, and then like his walking."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it. And Shu'bah has also narrated it from Isma'il al-Suddi:

It is narrated from Abd al-Rahman bin Shaybah; he said: We differed here about al-wurud (the "coming to" mentioned in the verse). One group said that no believer will enter it, and others said that they will all enter it, then Allah Almighty will save those who were pious. I met Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) and asked him about it, and he said: "They will all enter it, then Allah will save those who were pious." I said to him: We have differed about this in Basrah; one group says no believer will enter it, and others say all will enter it, then Allah will save the pious. On hearing this he pointed his two fingers to his ears and said: "May these two ears of mine become deaf if I did not hear the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: Al-wurud means entering. No righteous or wicked person will remain who does not enter it, but it (the Fire) will become coolness and safety for the believer just as it became for Ibrahim (peace be upon him), so much so that the Fire - or he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Hell - will be heard crying out because of its coolness. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then Allah will save those who were pious and leave the wrongdoers in it on their knees."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection a man will take hold of his father's hand, and while taking him across the Fire he will want to admit him into Paradise." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then it will be announced: 'Indeed, no polytheist shall enter Paradise. Listen! Indeed, Allah has forbidden Paradise to every polytheist.'" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then he will say: 'O my Lord! (This is) my father.' So his father will be transformed into an extremely ugly and foul-smelling form, and he will leave him." The narrator said: The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) held that this man is Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not tell them anything more than that.
