The vastness of the Scale

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection the Scale (Mizan) will be set up. If the heavens and the earth were placed in it, it would have room for them. The angels will say: O our Lord, whose deeds will this weigh? Allah Almighty will say: Whomever I will of My creation. At this the angels will say: Glory be to You, we have not worshipped You as You deserve to be worshipped. And the Sirat will be set up like the edge of a razor (fine and sharp). The angels will say: Whom will You save from over this? Allah Almighty will say: Whomever I will of My creation. At this they will say: Glory be to You, we have not worshipped You as You deserve to be worshipped."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him); he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the people of Hell are some whom the Fire will seize up to their ankles, among them are some whom the Fire will seize up to the knees, some whom the Fire will seize up to the waist (where the waist-wrapper is tied), and some whom the Fire will seize up to the collarbones (the upper part of the chest)."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it!
