يَرِدُ النَّاسُ النَّارَ ثُمَّ يَصْدُرُونَ عَنْهَا بِأَعْمَالِهِمْ .

حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا سعيد بن محمد الحَجْواني بالكوفة، حدثنا وكيع بن الجرَّاح، حدثنا إسماعيل بن أبي خالد، عن قيس بن أبي حازم قال: بَكَى عبد الله بن رَوَاحة فبَكَت، امرأتُه فقال: ما يُبكيكِ؟ قالت: رأيتُك تبكي فبكيتُ، قال: إني نُبِّئتُ أني واردُها، ولم أُنبَّأْ أني صادرٌ (1).

It is narrated from Qays bin Abi Hazim; he said: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Rawahah (may Allah be pleased with him) wept, so his wife also began to weep. He asked her: "What has made you weep?" She said: I saw you weeping, so I wept too. He said: "I have been informed that I will come to it (Hell) (i.e. pass over the Sirat), but I have not been informed that I will also get across it."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

(1) رجاله ثقات غير سعيد بن محمد الحجواني، فقد ضعَّفه الدارقطني كما في "سؤالات الحاكم له" (109)، لكنه لم ينفرد به.
Grading: Its narrators are (all) "thiqah" except Sa'id bin Muhammad al-Hajwani.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-Daraqutni declared (Sa'id al-Hajwani) weak, as is mentioned in "Su'alat al-Hakim" (109), but he is not "alone" in this narration (rather, he is corroborated).
فالخبر في "الزهد" لوكيع (32)، ورواه عن وكيع ابن أبي شيبة في "المصنف" 13/ 357، وأحمد في "الزهد" (1111)، وكذا هناد بن السري (227).
Reference / Source: Thus this report is in Waki''s book "al-Zuhd" (32). From Waki' it was narrated by Ibn Abi Shaybah in "al-Musannaf" (13/357), Ahmad in "al-Zuhd" (1111), and likewise Hannad bin al-Sari (227).
ورواه عن إسماعيل بن أبي خالد أيضًا عبد الله بن المبارك في "الزهد" برواية الحسين المروزي (310)، ومن طريقه النسائي (11836).
Reference / Source: Abd Allah bin al-Mubarak also narrated it from Isma'il bin Abi Khalid in "al-Zuhd" (in the transmission of al-Husayn al-Marwazi: 310), and via him al-Nasa'i (11836) recorded it.
ورواه عنه أيضًا سفيانُ بنُ عيينة كما في الرواية التالية.
