It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from a journey and saw his family, he would say this supplication: 'Awban awban, ila rabbina tawban, la yughadiru 'alayna hawban' ((We are) returning, returning, to our Lord in repentance, a repentance that leaves no sin upon us).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs, because Imam Bukhari used Ikrimah as evidence and Imam Muslim used Simak bin Harb as evidence, but they did not record it.

Hadith Grading
It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), that she said: We were returning from Makkah after performing Hajj or Umrah, and Sayyiduna Usayd bin Hudayr (may Allah be pleased with him) was walking ahead of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then some boys of the Ansar met us, who used to go out to receive their families when they arrived.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Hadith Grading
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Tha'labah al-Khushani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from one of his military expeditions and entered the mosque and prayed two rak'ahs in it. (He liked, when he returned from a journey, to enter the mosque and pray two rak'ahs in it, and then leave.) Then he came to Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) and visited her first. She received him and began kissing his face and his eyes. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked her: "Why are you crying?" She said: O Messenger of Allah, I see that your colour has changed (from fatigue). Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Fatimah, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has sent your father with a matter (the religion) that will not leave any house of clay or tent of camel hair on the face of the earth except that Allah will bring this religion into it, with honour or with humiliation, until it reaches wherever the night reaches."
There is consensus on the reliability of the narrators of this hadith, except Abu Farwah Yazid bin Sinan. It also has a supporting narration (shahid) from the narration of Ibrahim bin Qu'ays:

Hadith Grading
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out on a military expedition, the last person he would meet was Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), and when he returned from an expedition, the first person he would go to was Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her).
(Imam al-Hakim says:) Then the narrator mentioned the rest of the hadith in wording other than this.

Hadith Grading
It is narrated from Ubayd bin Umayr that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to push through the crowd very forcefully at the two corners (the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone) (during tawaf). I said: O Abu Abdur-Rahman, you push through the crowd at these two corners so much that I have not seen any other of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) do so! He said: If I do so, it is because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Touching these two is an expiation for sins." And I heard him say: "Whoever performs tawaf of this House seven times and completes it properly, it is equal to freeing a slave." And I heard him say: "He (the one performing tawaf) does not put down one foot nor lift the other except that Allah removes from him a sin because of it and records for him a good deed."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to what I have explained about the condition of Ata bin al-Sa'ib, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Hadith Grading
It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), that she said: It was my night (by turn), in which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was to stay with me. Then Wahb bin Zam'ah came to me, and with him a man from the family of Abu Umayyah, both wearing shirts. the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked Wahb: "O Abu Abdullah, have you performed Tawaf al-Ifadah?" He said: No, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take this shirt off yourself." The narrator says: So he took the shirt off over his head, and his companion also took off his shirt. The people said: Why is that, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, you have been granted the concession that when you have stoned the Jamrah, everything that was forbidden to you becomes lawful for you except women. But if evening comes upon you (i.e. the sun sets) before you perform tawaf of the House, you become muhrim (in the state of ihram) again, just as you were before stoning the Jamrah, until you perform tawaf."
Abu Ubaydah says: Umm Qays also narrated this hadith to me.
