It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out on a military expedition, the last person he would meet was Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), and when he returned from an expedition, the first person he would go to was Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her).
(Imam al-Hakim says:) Then the narrator mentioned the rest of the hadith in wording other than this.

Hasan li-ghayrihi: This narration is hasan li-ghayrihi (hasan through supporting reports), but this chain has "lin" (softness) because of the weakness of Ibrahim bin Qu'ays. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Abu Hatim and Ya'qub bin Sufyan called Ibrahim weak and "munkar al-hadith", and according to al-Hakim he used to fall into error in both chain and text. Scholarly defence: However, Ibn Hibban called him trustworthy, and Ibn Hajar declared one of his hadiths "hasan". The second part of this narration is corroborated (mutaba'ah), and there are supporting reports for the whole text. (4793). Repetition: This narration will come later at numbers (4792) and (4793). Reference / Source: Ahmad, Abu Dawud (4149) and Ibn Hibban (6353) narrated with a sahih chain that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (set out or returned home), he would begin by going to Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: The hadith of Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) (Musnad Ahmad 37/22363) also supports it; although its narrator is majhul (unknown), his narration can be cited as a supporting report.
