It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every good deed or act of kindness that any one of you does for a wealthy person or a poor person is counted as charity on his part."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked his Companions: "Who is the best of people?" The Companions said: O Messenger of Allah, the man who expends his wealth and his life (in the way of Allah). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How excellent this man is! But he is not the one (meant as the very best); rather, the best of people is the man who expends all his capacity and his full effort."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All of creation is the family of Allah Almighty, so the most beloved of all people to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, is the one who is most beneficial to His family (that is, His creation)."
Imam Abu Ya'la also recorded this narration from Yusuf bin Atiyyah himself, through Abu al-Rabi' al-Zahrani and Abu Yasin. I (Ibn Hajar) say: The narrator named Yusuf bin Atiyyah is alone in narrating this hadith, and in the science of hadith he is regarded as a very weak narrator.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever walks to meet the need and attend to the affair of his Muslim brother, Allah Almighty writes for him a good deed for every step that he takes on that path, until he returns to the very place from which he set out. Then, if that brother's need is fulfilled, he comes out of his sins as pure as on the day his mother gave birth to him; and if he dies during that effort, he will enter Paradise without reckoning or account."
The narrator of this narration, Abd al-Rahim, is very weak.

Similarly, it is narrated through another chain that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever treats a believer with gentleness and kindness, or supports him in any of his needs, whether small or great (will also receive this same reward)."
I (Ibn Hajar) say: The central pivot of the chains of this hadith is the narrator named Yazid al-Raqashi, and he is weak.
