وَحَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ هُوَ ابْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ الْأَزْرَقِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سُكَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي سِرَاجٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : مَنْ خَيْرُ النَّاسِ ؟ قَالَ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : أَنْفَعُهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ .
It is narrated from Maymun bin Mihran (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: Who is the best of people? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of people is the one who is most beneficial to people."
