وَحَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبٌ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ - قَالَ : لَا يَزَالُ اللهُ تَعَالَى فِي حَاجَةِ الْعَبْدِ مَا دَامَ الْعَبْدُ فِي حَاجَةِ أَخِيهِ . يُحَدِّثُ ذَلِكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he related this blessed saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, continues to meet the servant's need and to help him as long as the servant remains engaged in fulfilling the need of his (Muslim) brother and assisting him." Sayyiduna Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) used to relate this blessed hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
