قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ بَكْرِ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ يَصْنَعُهُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى غَنِيٍّ أَوْ فَقِيرٍ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every good deed or act of kindness that any one of you does for a wealthy person or a poor person is counted as charity on his part."
