It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever comes to the aid of an afflicted person crying for help, Allah, Glorified and Exalted, writes for him seventy-three (73) good deeds, one of which is such that through it Allah Almighty sets right all his affairs of this world and the Hereafter, while the remaining seventy-two (72) good deeds are decreed for the raising of his ranks in the Hereafter."
