Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The last two men to come out of Hell: Allah Almighty will say to one of them: 'O son of Adam! What did you prepare for this Day? Did you ever do any good? Did you place any hope in Me?' He will reply: 'No, O my Lord!' So the command will be given to take him to Hell, and he will be the one suffering the most intense regret among the people of Hell. Allah Almighty will ask the other man: 'O son of Adam! What did you prepare for this Day? Did you ever do any good deed? Did you place any hope in Me?' He will reply: 'No, O my Lord! (I never did any good,) but I used to place my hope in You.' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A tree will appear before that man, and he will say: 'O my Lord! Settle me beneath this tree, so that I may come into its shade, eat of its fruit and drink of its water.' He will keep making a covenant with Allah Almighty that he will ask for nothing besides it. Allah Almighty will settle him beneath that tree. Then another tree will appear before him, more beautiful than the first and with sweeter water, and he will say: 'O my Lord! Settle me beneath this (second) tree; I will ask You for nothing besides it. I will come into its shade, eat of its fruit and drink of its water.' Allah Almighty will say: 'O son of Adam! Did you not make a covenant with Me that you would ask Me for nothing besides it?' The man will say: 'O my Lord! Now I will ask You for nothing besides this.' So Allah Almighty will settle him beneath it and take a covenant from him that he will ask for nothing else besides it. Then a tree will appear before the man near the door of Paradise, more beautiful than both of the earlier trees and with sweeter water, and the man will say: 'O my Lord! I will not ask You for anything besides this; settle me beneath it, so that I may come into its shade, eat of its fruit and drink of its water.' The Lord will say: 'O son of Adam! Did you not make a covenant with Me that you would ask Me for nothing besides it?' The man will say: 'O my Lord! I will ask You for nothing besides this.' So Allah Almighty will place the man beneath that tree and take a covenant from him that he will ask Allah Almighty for nothing besides it. The man will hear the voices of the people of Paradise, and he will be unable to restrain himself and will say: 'O my Lord! Admit me into Paradise!' (When that man enters Paradise,) the Lord will say: 'Ask! And wish!' The man will keep asking and wishing for three days by the reckoning of the days of the world, and Allah Almighty will prompt him about things of which he had no knowledge; he will ask and wish, and when he has finished, Allah Almighty will say: 'O son of Adam! You have what you asked for!'" Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported these words here: "And the like of it along with it." Whereas Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported these words: "And ten times the like of it along with it." One of the two said to the other: "You narrate what you heard, and I will narrate what I heard."
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Bazzar recorded something similar, though he reported these words from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): "Ten times the like of it." He also reported similar words from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him). The narrators of both are the narrators of the Sahih, except Ali bin Zayd, who has been declared trustworthy despite the weakness in him.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one of the lowest rank and status among the people of Paradise will be a person who has seven levels; he will be on the sixth level, with the seventh level above him. He will have three hundred servants, and every morning and evening three hundred bowls will be brought to him (the narrator says: I think the narration has these words:) bowls made of gold; in every bowl there will be food different from that in the other bowl. He will find as much delight in the first as he finds in the last, and he will say: 'O my Lord! If You permit me, I will feed all the people of Paradise and give them drink, and even then there will be no decrease in what I have.' And this man will be given seventy-two wives from the Hur al-'Ayn, besides his worldly wives, and the sitting place of one of them will be the size of a mile of land."
Ahmad recorded it; its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), though some of them have weakness.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one of the lowest rank among the people of Paradise in terms of share (here the narrator is unsure about one word, but its meaning is the same) will be some people whom Allah Almighty will bring out of Hell. Allah Almighty will show them this kindness because they did not ascribe any partner to Allah. They will be cast out onto open ground, then they will sprout as vegetation sprouts, until, when the souls enter their bodies, they will say: 'O our Lord! Just as You have brought us out of Hell and returned the souls to our bodies, so turn us away from Hell.' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says: Then Allah Almighty will turn their faces away from Hell."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If the adornment of the lowest person among the people of Paradise were compared with the adornments of all the people of the world, the adornment that Allah Almighty will grant that person in the Hereafter would be superior to the adornments of all the people of the world."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat from his teacher al-Miqdam bin Dawud, who is da'if (weak), though he has been declared trustworthy; the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) states: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The lowest-ranking person among the people of Paradise will have ten thousand attendants standing at his head, each of whom will have two vessels in his hands, one of gold and the other of silver, and in each of them there will be a different kind of food. That person will eat from the last vessel just as he eats from the first, and he will find in the last vessel the same fragrance and delight that he found in the first (that is, eating much will not lessen its fragrance or delight). Then all that food will turn into a fragrance like that of pure musk (al-musk al-adhfar). The people of Paradise will have no need to urinate or relieve themselves, nor will they need to spit out phlegm. They will be brothers, sitting on couches facing one another."

Hadith Takhrij«أخرجه المعجم الأوسط للطبراني برقم: 7670، وأخرجه شرح السنة برقم: 1965»
Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "I know about the person who will be the last to enter Paradise. He will be a man who says: 'O my Lord! Keep me away from Hell,' and he does not say: 'Admit me into Paradise.' When the people of Paradise have entered Paradise and the people of Hell have entered Hell, and only that man remains, he will say: 'O my Lord! Why am I here?' The Lord will say: 'O son of Adam! This is what you asked of Me.' He will say: 'O my Lord! Bring me near to Paradise.' The Lord will say: 'O son of Adam! You did not ask Me for that!' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says: Then Allah Almighty will create a tree for him at the door of Paradise, and the man will say: 'O my Lord! Bring me near to this tree so that I may eat of its fruit and stay in its shade.' The Lord will say: 'O son of Adam! Did you not ask Me only to keep you away from Hell?' The man will keep on asking until he is told: 'Go! You have all that your feet reach and all that your eyes see.'"
Al-Tabarani recorded something similar, though he recorded these words: "The Lord will say: 'O son of Adam! This is what you used to ask of Me.' Meanwhile, a tree will appear before him at the door of Paradise, inside Paradise, and he will say: 'O my Lord! Bring me near to this tree so that I may eat of its fruit and come into its shade.' The Lord will say: 'O son of Adam! You did not ask Me (for anything more)!' The man will say: 'O my Lord! Where is there anyone like You?' The man will keep doing this: whenever he sees something better, he will begin asking, until he is told: 'Go! You have all that your feet go to and all that your eyes see.' So he will run until he is exhausted, and he will point with his hand and say: 'This and this.' He will be told: 'This is yours, and the like of it along with it.' So he will be pleased, to the extent that he will think that what Allah Almighty has granted him He has not granted to anyone among the people of Paradise. He will say: 'If I were permitted, I would provide the people of Paradise with food, drink and clothing from what Allah Almighty has given me, and even then there would be no decrease in what I have.'" The chains of both narrations contain Musa bin Ubaydah al-Rabadhi, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The last person to enter Paradise will be one who is rolling over on the Sirat as a boy rolls when his father beats him and the boy wants to run away from him. That man's deeds will not leave him able to run. He will say: 'O my Lord! Bring me to Paradise and save me from Hell.' Allah Almighty will reveal to him: 'O My servant! If I save you from Hell and admit you into Paradise, will you confess your sins and errors before Me?' The servant will reply: 'Yes, O my Lord! By Your Might and Your Majesty! If You save me from Hell, I will confess my sins and errors before You.' He will cross the Sirat, then that man will think: 'If I confess my sins and errors, Allah Almighty will send me back to Hell.' Allah Almighty will reveal to that servant: 'O My servant! Confess your sins and errors before Me so that I may forgive you and admit you into Paradise.' The servant will say: 'No! By Your Might! I never committed any sin and I never made any error.' Allah Almighty will reveal to him: 'O My servant! I have evidence against you.' The servant will look to his right and left and will see no one, and he will say: 'O my Lord! Show me Your evidence.' Allah Almighty will grant speech to his skin, and it will confess the sins that were considered trivial. When the servant sees this situation, he will say: 'O my Lord! By Your Might, I also have some sins that are hidden.' The Lord will reveal to him: 'O My servant! I know about them better than you. Confess them before Me; I will forgive you for them and admit you into Paradise.' So the servant will confess his sins, and Allah Almighty will admit him into Paradise." The narrator states: Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) laughed until his molar teeth became visible, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is the state of the one who will be of the lowest rank among the people of Paradise; so what will be the state of the one above him?"
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains narrators whom I do not know, and among them are da'if (weak) narrators who have been given a soft (weak) declaration of trustworthiness.
