بَابٌ فِي أَدْنَى أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلَةً ، وَآخِرِ مَنْ يَدْخُلُونَهَا .

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ أَدْنَى أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ حَظًّا - أَوْ نَصِيبًا - قَوْمٌ يُخْرِجُهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ فَيَرْتَاحُ لَهُمُ الرَّبُّ - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى - أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا ، فَيَبْدُونَ بِالْعَرَاءِ ، فَيَنْبُتُونَ كَمَا يَنْبُتُ الْبَقْلُ ، حَتَّى إِذَا دَخَلَتِ الْأَرْوَاحُ فِي أَجْسَادِهِمْ قَالُوا : رَبَّنَا ، كَالَّذِي أَخْرَجْتَنَا مِنَ النَّارِ ، وَرَجَّعْتَ الْأَرْوَاحَ إِلَى أَجْسَادِنَا ، فَاصْرِفْ وُجُوهَنَا عَنِ النَّارِ " . قَالَ : " فَيَصْرِفُ وُجُوهَهُمْ عَنِ النَّارِ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one of the lowest rank among the people of Paradise in terms of share (here the narrator is unsure about one word, but its meaning is the same) will be some people whom Allah Almighty will bring out of Hell. Allah Almighty will show them this kindness because they did not ascribe any partner to Allah. They will be cast out onto open ground, then they will sprout as vegetation sprouts, until, when the souls enter their bodies, they will say: 'O our Lord! Just as You have brought us out of Hell and returned the souls to our bodies, so turn us away from Hell.' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says: Then Allah Almighty will turn their faces away from Hell."
