بَابٌ فِي أَدْنَى أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلَةً ، وَآخِرِ مَنْ يَدْخُلُونَهَا .

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَوْ أَنَّ أَدْنَى أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ حِلْيَةً عَدَلَتْ حِلَيَتُهُ عَلَيْهِ أَهْلَ الدُّنْيَا جَمِيعًا ، لَكَانَ مَا يُعْطِيهِ اللَّهُ فِي الْآخَرِةَ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ حِلْيَةِ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا جَمِيعًا " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ عَنْ شَيْخِهِ : الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If the adornment of the lowest person among the people of Paradise were compared with the adornments of all the people of the world, the adornment that Allah Almighty will grant that person in the Hereafter would be superior to the adornments of all the people of the world."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat from his teacher al-Miqdam bin Dawud, who is da'if (weak), though he has been declared trustworthy; the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
