Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "O people! Richness does not come from an abundance of goods; rather, true richness is richness of the soul. Allah Almighty gives the servant in full the provision He has decreed for him, so be moderate in seeking provision: take what is lawful and leave what He has made unlawful."
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains Ubayd bin Nistas, the freed slave of Kathir bin al-Salt, and I have not found anyone who gave his biography. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up, called the people and said: "Come to me." The people came to him and sat down. He said: "This messenger of the Lord of the worlds, Sayyiduna Jibril, has informed me that no soul will die until it has received its provision in full, even if it reaches it late. So fear Allah Almighty and be moderate in seeking provision. Let not the delay of provision drive you to obtain it through disobedience to Allah Almighty, for what is with Him can only be attained through obedience to Him."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Qudamah bin Za'idah bin Qudamah, and I have not found anyone who gave his biography. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Asim bin Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I bought one hundred shares of the shares of Khaybar. When news of this reached the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "Two ravenous wolves that attack sheep neglected by their owner do not cause as much harm as a Muslim's pursuit of wealth and status causes to his religion."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator whom I do not know.
