وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ : قَامَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَدَعَا النَّاسَ ، فَقَالَ : " هَلُمُّوا إِلَيَّ " . فَأَقْبَلُوا إِلَيْهِ ، فَجَلَسُوا فَقَالَ : " هَذَا رَسُولُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ جِبْرِيلُ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - نَفَثَ فِي رُوعِي أَنَّهُ لَا تَمُوتُ نَفْسٌ حَتَّى تَسْتَكْمِلَ رِزْقَهَا ، وَإِنْ أَبْطَأَ عَلَيْهَا ، فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَجْمِلُوا فِي الطَّلَبِ ، وَلَا يَحْمِلَنَّكُمُ اسْتِبْطَاءُ الرِّزْقِ أَنْ تَأْخُذُوهُ بِمَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ - تَعَالَى - ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُنَالُ مَا عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِطَاعَتِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ قُدَامَةُ بْنُ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ قُدَامَةَ ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ قُدَامَةُ بْنُ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ قُدَامَةَ ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up, called the people and said: "Come to me." The people came to him and sat down. He said: "This messenger of the Lord of the worlds, Sayyiduna Jibril, has informed me that no soul will die until it has received its provision in full, even if it reaches it late. So fear Allah Almighty and be moderate in seeking provision. Let not the delay of provision drive you to obtain it through disobedience to Allah Almighty, for what is with Him can only be attained through obedience to Him."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Qudamah bin Za'idah bin Qudamah, and I have not found anyone who gave his biography. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
