وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ الرِّزْقَ لَا تُنْقِصُهُ الْمَعْصِيَةُ ، وَلَا تَزِيدُهُ الْحَسَنَةُ ، وَتَرْكُ الدُّعَاءِ مَعْصِيَةٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَطِيَّةُ الْعَوْفِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "No sin decreases provision and no good deed increases it, and abandoning supplication is a sin."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir; its chain contains Atiyyah al-Awfi, who is da'if (weak), though he has also been declared trustworthy.
