Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) states: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! What is the deed (that leads to) Paradise?" He said: "Speaking the truth. When a person speaks the truth he does righteousness, when he does righteousness he is a believer, and when he is a believer he will enter Paradise." After this the narrator mentioned the complete hadith, which will come as a complete narration in the Book of Knowledge, in the chapter on the condemnation of lying.
Imam Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, and he is da'if (weak).
