بَابُ مَا جَاءَ أَنَّ الصِّدْقَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ .

وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُطْبَعُ الْمُؤْمِنُ عَلَى الْخِلَالِ كُلِّهَا ، إِلَّا الْخِيَانَةَ وَالْكَذِبَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَهُوَ مُنْقَطِعٌ بَيْنَ الْأَعْمَشِ وَأَبِي أُمَامَةَ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A believer may have every trait, except that treachery and lying cannot be in him."
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and it is munqati' (broken) between al-A'mash and Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him).
