بَابُ مَا جَاءَ أَنَّ الصِّدْقَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ .

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُطْبَعُ الْمُؤْمِنُ عَلَى كُلِّ خُلُقٍ ، لَيْسَ الْخِيَانَةَ وَالْكَذِبَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A believer may have every character (that is, every trait), but treachery and lying cannot be in him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ubaydullah bin al-Walid, and he is da'if (weak).
