It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Abdur Rahman! May Allah keep you under His protection from rulers who will come after me." He said: O Messenger of Allah! Who will they be? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever goes to them, affirms their lies and helps them in their oppression is not of me, nor will he come to me at my Pond. O Abdur Rahman! Know that fasting is a shield and prayer is a proof. O Abdur Rahman! Allah Almighty has forbidden me that flesh which has grown from unlawful wealth should enter Paradise; the Fire is more deserving of it."
This hadith has an authentic (sahih) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it, and its corroborating report (shahid) is the hadith of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Ka'b bin Ujrah! May Allah keep you under His protection from the rule of fools." He said: What is meant by the rule of fools? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There will be rulers after me who will neither follow my guidance nor act upon my Sunnah. So whoever affirms them in their lies and helps them in their oppression, such people are not of me and I am not of them, and they will not come to me at my Pond. And whoever does not affirm them in their lies and does not help them in their oppression, such people are of me and I am of them, and they will come to me at my Pond. O Ka'b bin Ujrah! Flesh that has grown from unlawful wealth (suht) will not enter Paradise; the Fire is more deserving of it. O Ka'b bin Ujrah! Fasting is a shield, charity extinguishes sin, and prayer is a means of nearness to Allah - or he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (prayer) is a proof." Moreover, this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "flesh that has grown from unlawful wealth (is deserving of the Fire)," has also been narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both).

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: Umm Sunbulah (may Allah be pleased with her) sent milk as a gift for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and she brought it to me, but he (peace and blessings be upon him) was not present. I said to her: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has forbidden us from eating the food of the Bedouins (the uncouth desert Arabs). Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came in. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Umm Sunbulah! What is this you have?" She said: O Messenger of Allah! It is milk that I have brought as a gift for you. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Umm Sunbulah! Pour it into a cup." He (peace and blessings be upon him) gave it to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, then said: "O Umm Sunbulah! Pour it." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took it and drank. Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I said: O Messenger of Allah! How it cools the liver! But you had told us (of the prohibition) regarding the food of the Bedouins! He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Aishah! These are not Bedouins (ignorant desert Arabs); rather, they are the people of our countryside and we are their townsfolk. When they are called, they respond; so they are not among the (blameworthy) Bedouins."
