أخبرني أبو بكر إسماعيل بن محمد الفقيه بالرَّيّ، حدثنا أبو حاتم الرازي، حدثني أبو أيوب سليمان بن عبد الرحمن الدِّمشقي، حدثني عبد الله بن وهب، حدثنا مالك بن خَيْر الزَّبَادي، عن أبي قَبِيل، عن عُقْبة بن عامر قال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: "سيَهْلِكُ من أمَّتي أهلُ الكِتابِ وأهلُ اللَّبَن" قال عقبةُ: ما أهلُ الكتابِ يا رسول الله؟ قال: "قومٌ يتعلَّمون كتابَ الله يُجادِلون به الذين آمَنوا" قال: فقلت: ما أهلُ اللَّبَن يا رسول الله؟ قال: "قومٌ يَتَّبِعون الشَّهَواتِ ويُضيِّعون الصَّلوات" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Soon, from among my Ummah, the 'people of the Book' and the 'people of milk' will perish." Uqbah asked: O Messenger of Allah, what is meant by the people of the Book? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "People who will learn the Book of Allah in order to argue (unjustly) with it against those who believe." I said: O Messenger of Allah, what is meant by the people of milk? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "People who (leave the towns and go after livestock in the countryside,) follow their desires and neglect the prayers."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith 3458

أخبرني عبد الرحمن بن حسن القاضي بهَمَذان، حدثنا إبراهيم بن الحسين، حدثنا آدم بن أبي إياس، حدثنا شعبة، عن أبي إسحاق، عن أبي عُبيدة، عن عبد الله في قوله ﷿: ﴿فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا﴾ [مريم: 59]، قال: نهرٌ في جهنَّم، بعيدُ القَعْر خبيثُ الطَّعم (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning this saying of Allah Almighty: "So they will meet Ghayy" [Surah Maryam: 59]; he said: "It is a river in Hell, extremely deep, and with an utterly foul (putrid) taste."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith 3459

أخبرنا أبو جعفر محمد بن علي الشَّيباني، حدثنا أحمد بن حازم الغِفَاري، حدثنا أبو نُعيم، حدثنا عاصم بن رجاء بن حَيْوةَ، عن أبيه، عن أبي الدَّرداء رَفَعَ الحديثَ، قال: "ما أَحلَّ الله في كتابه فهو حلالٌ، وما حرَّم فهو حرامٌ، وما سَكَتَ عنه فهو عافيةٌ، فاقبَلُوا من الله عافيتَه، فإنَّ الله لم يكن نَسِيًّا"، ثم تلا هذه الآية: ﴿وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّا﴾ [مريم: 64] (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him), in a marfu' report, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whatever Allah has made lawful in His Book is lawful, whatever He has forbidden is forbidden, and whatever He has passed over (by remaining silent about it) is a relief (a concession) for you. So accept from Allah this relief He has granted, for Allah is not forgetful." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "And your Lord is never forgetful" [Surah Maryam: 64].
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

أخبرنا أبو زكريا العَنبَري، حدثنا محمد بن عبد السلام، حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم، أخبرنا وَكِيع ويحيى بن آدم قالا: حدثنا إسرائيل، عن سِمَاك بن حَرْب، عن عِكْرمة، عن ابن عبَّاس في قوله ﷿: ﴿هَلْ تَعْلَمُ لَهُ سَمِيًّا﴾ [مريم: 65]، قال: لم يُسَمَّ أحدٌ الرحمنَ غيرُه (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.
