أخبرني الشيخ أبو بكر بن إسحاق، أخبرنا محمد بن شاذان الجَوْهَري، حدثنا سعيد بن سليمان الواسطي، حدثنا محمد بن يزيد بن خُنَيس، عن عبد العزيز بن أبي روَّاد، عن عِكْرمة، عن ابن عبَّاس قال: لما أَنزل الله ﷿ على نبيِّه ﷺ ﴿يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا﴾ [التحريم: 6]، تَلَاها رسولُ الله ﷺ على أصحابه ذاتَ ليلة - أو قال يوم - فخَرَّ فتًى مَغشِيًّا عليه، فَوَضَعَ النبيُّ ﷺ يدَه على فؤادِه فإذا هو يَتحرَّك، فقال: "يا فتى، قل: لا إلهَ إلَّا الله" فقالها، فبشَّرَه بالجنة، فقال أصحابه: يا رسولَ الله، أَمِنْ بينِنا؟ فقال ﷺ: "أمَا سمعتُم قول الله ﷿: ﴿ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامِي وَخَافَ وَعِيدِ﴾ [إبراهيم: 14] " (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: When Allah Almighty revealed this verse to His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "O you who believe! Protect yourselves and your families from a Fire" [Surah al-Tahrim: 6], the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited it to his Companions one night (or during a day), and a young man fell down unconscious. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his blessed hand on his heart, and it was beating. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O young man! Say 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no god but Allah)." He said it, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him the glad tidings of Paradise. The Companions said: "O Messenger of Allah! Is (this glad tiding) for him alone from among all of us?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Have you not heard this saying of Allah Almighty: 'That is for whoever fears standing before Me and fears My threat' [Surah Ibrahim: 14]?"
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith 3379

أخبرني الحسن بن حَلِيم المروَزي، أخبرنا أبو الموجِّه، أخبرنا عَبْدانُ، أخبرنا عبد الله، أخبرنا صفوان بن عمرو، عن عبد الله بن بُسْر، عن أبي أُمامة، عن النبي ﷺ في قوله ﷿: ﴿وَيُسْقَى مِنْ مَاءٍ صَدِيدٍ (16) يَتَجَرَّعُهُ﴾ [إبراهيم: 16، 17]، قال: "يُقرَّبُ إليه فيتَكرَّهُه، فإذا أدنيَ منه شَوَى وجهَه ووَقَعَ فروةُ رأسِه، فإذا شَرِبَ قَطَّعَ أمعاءَه حتى يخرجَ من دُبُرِه" يقول الله: ﴿وَسُقُوا مَاءً حَمِيمًا فَقَطَّعَ أَمْعَاءَهُمْ﴾ [محمد: 15]، ويقول الله ﷿: ﴿وَإِنْ يَسْتَغِيثُوا يُغَاثُوا بِمَاءٍ كَالْمُهْلِ يَشْوِي الْوُجُوهَ بِئْسَ الشَّرَابُ﴾ [الكهف: 29] (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding this saying of Allah Almighty: "And he will be given to drink of festering water, which he will try to gulp down" [Surah Ibrahim: 16-17]: "It will be brought near to him and he will loathe it. Then when it is brought closer to him, it will roast his face and the skin of his scalp will fall off. Then when he drinks it, it will cut his intestines until they come out from his rear." Allah Almighty says: "And they will be given boiling water to drink, which will cut their intestines" [Surah Muhammad: 15]. And Allah Almighty says: "And if they cry for relief, they will be relieved with water like molten copper which roasts the faces; how wretched a drink!" [Surah al-Kahf: 29]
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith 3380

حدثني محمد بن صالح بن هانئ، حدثنا محمد بن أحمد بن أَنس القُرشي، حدثنا عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ، حدثنا عبد الله بن واقد حدثني محمد بن مالك، عن البَرَاء بن عازِبٍ: ﴿تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهُ سَلَامٌ﴾ [الأحزاب: 44]، قال: يومَ يَلقَونَ مَلَكَ الموت، ليس من مؤمنٍ يَقبِضُ رُوحَه إلَّا سَلَّم عليه (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with them both), regarding this saying of Allah Almighty: "Their greeting on the Day they meet Him will be: Peace" [Surah al-Ahzab: 44], that he said: "It will be the day they meet the Angel of Death. The soul of no believer is taken except that the Angel of Death greets him with salam."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith 3381

أخبرنا الحسين بن الحسن بن أيوب، حدثنا أبو يحيى بن أبي مَسَرَّة، حدثنا العلاء بن عبد الجبار العطَّار، حدثنا حمّاد بن سَلَمة، عن شعيب بن الحَبْحاب، عن أنس بن مالك قال: أُتيَ رسولُ الله ﷺ بقِنَاع من بُسْر، فقرأ: مَثَلُ كلمةٍ طيبةٍ كشجرةٍ طيبةٍ (1)، فقال: "هي النخلةُ" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: A basket containing unripe dates was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "The parable of a good word is like a good tree" [Surah Ibrahim: 24], and then said: "It is the date palm."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
