أخبرني أبو جعفر محمد بن علي الشَّيباني بالكوفة، حدثنا أحمد بن حازم الغِفاري، حدثنا أبو نُعيم، حدثنا بسَّام الصَّيرَفي، حدثنا أبو الطُّفيل عامر بن واثلةَ قال: سمعتُ عليًّا قام فقال: سَلُوا قبل أن لا تَسأَلوا، ولن تَسأَلوا بعدي مِثْلي، فقام ابنُ الكَوَّاءِ فقال: مَن ﴿الَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّوا قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ﴾ [إبراهيم: 28]؟ قال: قال: منافِقُو قُريشٍ، قال: فمَن ﴿الَّذِينَ ضَلَّ سَعْيُهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ يُحْسِنُونَ صُنْعًا﴾ [الكهف: 104]؟ قال: منهم أهلُ حَرُوراء (1).
هذا حديث صحيحٌ عالٍ، وبسَّام بن عبد الرحمن الصَّيرَفي من ثِقات الكوفيين ممَّن يُجمَع حديثُهم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Abu al-Tufayl Amir bin Wathilah that he said: I heard Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) stand up and say: "Ask me before you are unable to ask, for after me you will not be able to ask anyone like me." At this Ibn al-Kawwa' stood up and asked: "Who are those about whom Allah has said: 'Those who exchanged the favour of Allah for disbelief and settled their people in the home of ruin' [Surah Ibrahim: 28]?" Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "They are the hypocrites of Quraysh." Then he asked: "And who are those about whom He said: 'Those whose effort is lost in the life of this world while they think that they are doing well in their deeds' [Surah al-Kahf: 104]?" Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The people of Harura' (the Khawarij) are among them."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) with a high ('ali) chain, and Bassam bin Abd al-Rahman al-Sayrafi is one of the trustworthy narrators of Kufah whose hadiths are collected, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

حدثنا أبو العبَّاس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا محمد بن علي بن ميمون الرَّقِّي، حدثنا محمد بن يوسف الفِرْيابي، حدثنا سفيان، عن أبي إسحاق، عن عَمرٍو ذي مُرٍّ، عن علي في قوله ﷿: ﴿وَأَحَلُّوا قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ﴾ [إبراهيم: 28]، قال: هما الأفجرانِ من قُريش: بنو أُميَّة وبنو المُغيرةِ، فأما بنو المغيرة فقد قَطَعَ اللهُ دابِرَهم يومَ بدر، وأما بنو أُميَّة فمُتِّعوا إلى حِينٍ (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Amr Dhu Murr that Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said regarding this saying of Allah Almighty: "And they settled their people in the home of ruin" [Surah Ibrahim: 28]: "These are the two most wicked clans of Quraysh: Banu Umayyah and Banu al-Mughirah. As for Banu al-Mughirah, Allah cut off their root on the day of Badr; and as for Banu Umayyah, they have been given respite until an appointed time."

حدثنا أبو سعيد أحمد بن يعقوب الثَّقَفي، حدثنا موسى بن هارون، حدثنا عُقْبة بن مُكْرَم الضَّبِّي، حدثنا محبوبُ بن الحسن، حدثنا داود بن أبي هند، عن الشَّعْبي، عن مسروق، عن عائشة قالت: قرأَ رسول الله ﷺ: ﴿يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ﴾ [إبراهيم: 48]، قلت: أين الناسُ يومئذٍ؟ قال: "على الصِّراطِ" (2).

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "On the Day the earth will be changed into another earth, and the heavens too, and they will all come forth before Allah, the One, the Irresistible" [Surah Ibrahim: 48]. I asked: "Where will the people be on that Day?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Sirat (the bridge)."
