حدثنا أبو سعيد أحمد بن يعقوب الثَّقَفي، حدثنا موسى بن هارون، حدثنا عُقْبة بن مُكْرَم الضَّبِّي، حدثنا محبوبُ بن الحسن، حدثنا داود بن أبي هند، عن الشَّعْبي، عن مسروق، عن عائشة قالت: قرأَ رسول الله ﷺ: ﴿يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ﴾ [إبراهيم: 48]، قلت: أين الناسُ يومئذٍ؟ قال: "على الصِّراطِ" (2).

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "On the Day the earth will be changed into another earth, and the heavens too, and they will all come forth before Allah, the One, the Irresistible" [Surah Ibrahim: 48]. I asked: "Where will the people be on that Day?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Sirat (the bridge)."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن في المتابعات والشواهد من أجل محبوب بن الحسن، ومحبوب لقب واسمه محمد بن الحسن بن هلال، وقد توبع، وباقي رجاله ثقات.
Grading: This hadith is sahih, and its chain is hasan within corroborations and supporting reports because of Mahbub bin al-Hasan (Mahbub is a nickname; his name is Muhammad bin al-Hasan bin Hilal), and he has been corroborated; the rest of its narrators are thiqah.
وأخرجه أحمد 40/ (24069)، ومسلم (2791)، وابن ماجه (4279)، والترمذي (3121) و (3242)، وابن حبان (331) و (7380) من طرق عن داود بن أبي هند، بهذا الإسناد. واستدراك المصنف له ذهول منه ﵀. وسيأتي بنحوه عند المصنف برقم (3672) من طريق ابن عبَّاس عن عائشة.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (40/ 24069), Muslim (2791), Ibn Majah (4279), al-Tirmidhi (3121 and 3242) and Ibn Hibban (331 and 7380) recorded it through various routes from Dawud bin Abi Hind with this same chain.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The author's (al-Hakim's) including it as a mustadrak is an oversight on his part (may Allah have mercy on him).
