بَابُ مَنَاقِبِ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَفَاطِمَةُ سَيِّدَةُ نِسَائِهِمْ إِلَّا مَا كَانَ لِمَرْيَمَ بِنْتِ عِمْرَانَ " .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ غَيْرَ ذِكْرِ فَاطِمَةَ وَمَرْيَمَ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hasan and Husayn are the leaders of the youth of the people of Paradise, and Fatimah is the leader of the women there, though the case of Maryam bint Imran is different." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
Imam al-Tirmidhi recorded this narration, but he did not mention Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) and Sayyidah Maryam (may Allah be pleased with her).

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " سَيِّدَاتُ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ بَعْدَ مَرْيَمَ بِنْتِ عِمْرَانَ : فَاطِمَةُ ، وَخَدِيجَةُ ، ثُمَّ آسِيَةُ بِنْتُ مُزَاحِمٍ امْرَأَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ بِنَحْوِهِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " وَآسِيَةُ " . وَرِجَالُ الْكَبِيرِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After Maryam bint Imran, the leaders of the women of the people of Paradise are Fatimah and Khadijah, and then Asiyah bint Muzahim, the wife of Pharaoh."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and something similar in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, except that he narrated the word "Asiyah"; and the narrators of al-Mu'jam al-Kabir are the narrators of the Sahih.

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ مَلَكًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ لَمْ يَكُنْ زَارَنِي ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَ اللَّهَ فِي زِيَارَتِي ، فَبَشَّرَنِي - أَوْ أَخْبَرَنِي - أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةُ نِسَاءِ أُمَّتِي " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ الذُّهْلِيِّ ، وَوَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "An angel came from the heaven who had never before come to visit me. He sought permission from Allah Almighty to visit me, and he gave me glad tidings, telling me that Fatimah will be the leader of the women of my Ummah."

وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ لِفَاطِمَةَ : " أَلَا تَرْضَيْنَ أَنْ تَكُونِي سَيِّدَةَ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَابْنَاكِ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her): "Are you not pleased that you will be the leader of the women of the people of Paradise, and your two sons the leaders of the youth of the people of Paradise?"

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : مَا رَأَيْتُ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ فَاطِمَةَ غَيْرَ أَبِيهَا . قَالَتْ : وَكَانَ بَيْنَهُمَا شَيْءٌ ؟ فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، سَلْهَا فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَكْذِبُ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، إِلَّا أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا قَطُّ أَصْدَقُ مِنْ فَاطِمَةَ . وَرِجَالُهُمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I have not seen anyone more virtuous than Fatimah, except her father. Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Once there was some matter between the two of them, and Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Messenger of Allah! Ask Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), for she does not tell untruths.

وَعَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ : اسْتَأْذَنَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَسَمِعَ صَوْتَ عَائِشَةَ عَالِيًا ، وَهِيَ تَقُولُ : وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ عَرَفْتُ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا وَفَاطِمَةَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْكَ مِنِّي وَمِنْ أَبِي - مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا - . فَاسْتَأْذَنَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، [ فَدَخَلَ ] فَأَهْوَى إِلَيْهَا ، فَقَالَ : يَا بِنْتَ فُلَانَةَ ، لَا أَسْمَعُكِ تَرْفَعِينَ صَوْتَكِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - . قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ غَيْرَ ذِكْرِ عَلِيٍّ وَفَاطِمَةَ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) sought permission to enter upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). From outside he heard the raised voice of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who was saying: By Allah! I know that Ali and Fatimah are dearer to you than me and my father. She said this two or three times. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) sought permission to enter; when he came in, he went towards Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and said: O daughter of so-and-so! Let me not hear you raising your voice before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَلَى عَلِيٍّ وَفَاطِمَةَ وَهُمَا يَضْحَكَانِ ، فَلَمَّا رَأَيَا النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - سَكَتَا ، فَقَالَ لَهُمَا النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا لَكَمَا ، كُنْتُمَا تَضْحَكَانِ فَلَمَّا رَأَيْتُمَانِي سَكَتُّمَا ؟ " . فَبَادَرَتْ فَاطِمَةُ ، فَقَالَتْ : بِأَبِي أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ هَذَا : أَنَا أَحَبُّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مِنْكِ ، فَقُلْتُ : بَلْ أَنَا أَحَبُّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مِنْكَ ، فَتَبَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَقَالَ : " يَا بُنَيَّةُ ، لَكِ رِقَّةُ الْوَلَدِ ، وَعَلِيٌّ أَعِزُّ عَلَيَّ مِنْكِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her). The two of them were laughing; when they saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), they both fell silent. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked them: What is the matter? You were laughing before, and when you saw me you both fell silent. Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) spoke first and said: O Messenger of Allah! May my father be sacrificed for you. He (that is, Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him) says: I am dearer to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) than you; and I say: Rather, I am dearer to the Messenger of Allah than you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled and said: O my daughter! For you there is the tenderness that is felt for one's child, and Ali is more honoured in my sight than you.

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَيُّ أَحَبُ إِلَيْكَ ، أَنَا أَمْ فَاطِمَةُ ؟ قَالَ : " فَاطِمَةُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْكَ ، وَأَنْتَ أَعَزُّ عَلَيَّ مِنْهَا " . قُلْتُ : فَذَكَرَهُ وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Which of us is dearer to you, I or Fatimah? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fatimah is dearer to me than you, and you are more honoured in my sight than her." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: He then narrated the complete hadith, which has already passed before this.

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : كُنْتُ أَرَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يُقَبِّلُ فَاطِمَةَ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي أَرَاكَ تَفْعَلُ شَيْئًا مَا كُنْتَ تَفْعَلُهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ ، قَالَ لِي : " يَا حُمَيْرَاءُ ، إِنَّهُ لَمَّا كَانَ لَيْلَةُ أُسْرِيَ بِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ أُدْخِلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ ، فَوَقَفْتُ عَلَى شَجَرَةٍ مِنْ شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ ، لَمْ أَرَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ شَجَرَةً هِيَ أَحْسَنُ مِنْهَا حُسْنًا ، وَلَا أَبْيَضُ مِنْهَا وَرَقَةً ، وَلَا أَطْيَبُ مِنْهَا ثَمَرَةً ، فَتَنَاوَلْتُ ثَمَرَةً مِنْ ثَمَرَتِهَا فَأَكَلْتُهَا ، فَصَارَتْ نُطْفَةً فِي صُلْبِي ، فَلَمَّا هَبَطْتُ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ وَاقَعْتُ خَدِيجَةَ ، فَحَمَلَتْ بِفَاطِمَةَ ، فَإِذَا أَنَا اشْتَقْتُ إِلَى رَائِحَةِ الْجَنَّةِ شَمَمْتُ رِيحَ فَاطِمَةَ . يَا حُمَيْرَاءُ ، إِنَّ فَاطِمَةَ لَيْسَتْ كَنِسَاءِ الْآدَمِيِّينَ ، وَلَا تَعْتَلُّ كَمَا يَعْتَلُّونَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَقَالَ : كَانَ يَتَحَرَّى الصِّدْقَ ، وَأَنْكَرَ عَلَى مَنْ نَسَبَهُ إِلَى الْكَذِبِ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ : مَتْرُوكٌ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ أَيْضًا ، وَقَدْ ذَكَرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فِي تَرْجَمَتِهِ فِي الْمِيزَانِ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I used to see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kissing Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her). I said: O Messenger of Allah! I have seen you doing something which I do not think you used to do before. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: O Humayra! On the night I was taken up to the heaven on the Mi'raj, I was admitted into Paradise. I stopped at a tree there; I did not see in Paradise any tree more beautiful than it or whiter than it, nor one whose fruit was purer. I took one of its fruits and ate it, and it became a drop of seed in my loins. When I came down to the earth, I had marital relations with Khadijah, and she conceived through it. So whenever I long to smell the fragrance of Paradise, I smell the fragrance of Fatimah. O Humayra! Fatimah is not like ordinary women, and she has not been afflicted with ailments the way people are afflicted.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration. Its chain contains a narrator, Abu Qatadah al-Harrani, whom Imam Ahmad declared thiqah (trustworthy). He said: He used to strive for truthfulness; and Imam Ahmad rejected the view of whoever attributed lying to him. Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and others declared this narrator da'if (weak), and some said: He is matruk (abandoned). The chain of this narration also contains narrators whom I do not know. This hadith is mentioned in the book Mizan al-I'tidal under this narrator.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her): "Indeed, Allah Almighty will not punish you or your children."

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي : ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ فَاطِمَةَ حَصَّنَتْ فَرْجَهَا ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - أَدْخَلَهَا بِإِحْصَانِ فَرْجِهَا وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا الْجَنَّةَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ بِنَحْوِهِ ، وَفِيهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَتَّابٍ ، وَقِيلَ : ابْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fatimah has guarded her chastity, so on account of her guarding her chastity Allah Almighty will admit her and her offspring into Paradise."

وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّهُ كَانَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : " أَيُّ شَيْءٍ خَيْرٌ لِلْمَرْأَةِ ؟ فَسَكَتُوا فَلَمَّا رَجَعَتْ قُلْتُ لِفَاطِمَةَ : أَيُّ شَيْءٍ خَيْرٌ لِلنِّسَاءِ ؟ " قَالَتْ : لَا يَرَاهُنَّ الرِّجَالُ . فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : " إِنَّمَا فَاطِمَةُ بَضْعَةٌ مِنِّي - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا - " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .
It is reported about Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: What is the best thing for a woman? The people remained silent. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When I went back home, I asked Fatimah: What is the best thing for women? Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: That men do not see them. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Later I mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Fatimah is a part of my very self.

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - كَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ - خَطَبَ بِنْتَ أَبِي جَهْلٍ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنْ كُنْتَ تَزَوَّجْهَا فَرُدَّ عَلَيْنَا ابْنَتَنَا " . إِلَى هَاهُنَا يَنْتَهِي حَدِيثُ خَالِدٍ [ الْحَذَّاءِ ] وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ زِيَادَةٌ : قَالَ : فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " وَاللَّهِ لَا تَجْتَمِعُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَبِنْتُ عَدُوِّ اللَّهِ تَحْتَ رَجُلٍ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الثَّلَاثَةِ وَاخْتَصَرَهُ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ بِاخْتِصَارٍ أَيْضًا ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ تَمَّامٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) proposed marriage to the daughter of Abu Jahl. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If you are going to marry this woman, then return our daughter to us. The narration transmitted by Khalid al-Hadhdha ends here. In this hadith there is the additional statement that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By Allah! The daughter of the Messenger of Allah and the daughter of the enemy of Allah will not be together in the marriage of one man."

وَعَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ : أَنَّ حَسَنَ بْنَ حَسَنٍ بَعَثَ إِلَى الْمِسْوَرِ يَخْطُبُ ابْنَةً لَهُ ، فَقَالَ : قُلْ لَهُ يُوَافِينِي فِي وَقْتٍ ذَكَرَهُ ، فَلَقِيَهُ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ الْمِسْوَرُ ، وَقَالَ : مَا مِنْ سَبَبٍ ، وَلَا نَسَبٍ ، وَلَا صِهْرٍ ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ نَسَبِكُمْ وَصِهْرِكُمْ ، وَلَكِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " فَاطِمَةُ شِجْنَةٌ مِنِّي ; يَبْسُطُنِي مَا يَبْسُطُهَا ، وَيَقْبِضُنِي مَا يَقْبِضُهَا ، وَإِنَّهُ تَنْقَطِعُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْأَنْسَابُ إِلَّا نَسَبِي وَسَبَبِي " . وَتَحْتُكَ ابْنَتَهَا ، فَلَوْ زَوَّجْتُكَ قَبَضَهَا ذَلِكَ ، فَذَهَبَ عَاذِرًا لَهُ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أُمُّ بَكْرٍ بِنْتُ الْمِسْوَرِ ، وَلَمْ يُجَرِّحْهَا أَحَدٌ وَلَمْ يُوَثِّقْهَا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ وُثِّقُوا .
It is reported about Sayyiduna Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Hasan bin Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) sent a proposal to Sayyiduna Miswar (may Allah be pleased with him) for his daughter. He said (to the messenger): Tell him to fix a time to meet me. When they met, Sayyiduna Miswar (may Allah be pleased with him) praised Allah Almighty and said that no tie, no lineage and no relationship by marriage is dearer to me than the bond that would come with your lineage and a marriage relationship with you, for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fatimah is a part of my being; what pleases her pleases me, and what grieves her grieves me; and on the Day of Resurrection all lineages will be cut off except my tie and my lineage." Then Sayyiduna Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: One of her daughters is your wife; if I were to marry you to my daughter, that would grieve her. Having given this excuse, he departed.

وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " [ لِفَاطِمَةَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا - ] إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْضَبُ لِغَضَبِكِ ، وَيَرْضَى لِرِضَاكِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her): "Indeed, Allah Almighty becomes angry at your anger and is pleased at your pleasure."

وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ : إِنِّي لَجَالِسٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِذْ أَقْبَلَتْ فَاطِمَةُ ، فَقَامَتْ بِحِذَاءِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مُقَابِلَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " ادْنِي يَا فَاطِمَةُ " . فَدَنَتْ دَنْوَةً ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " ادْنِي يَا فَاطِمَةُ " . فَدَنَتْ دَنْوَةً ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " ادْنِي يَا فَاطِمَةُ " . فَدَنَتْ دَنْوَةً حَتَّى قَامَتْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ . قَالَ عِمْرَانُ : فَرَأَيْتُ صُفْرَةً قَدْ ظَهَرَتْ عَلَى وَجْهِهَا ، وَذَهَبَ الدَّمُ ، فَبَسَطَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ ، ثُمَّ وَضَعَ كَفَّهُ بَيْنَ تَرَائِبِهَا ، فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ مُشْبِعَ الْجَوْعَةِ ، وَقَاضِي الْحَاجَةِ ، وَرَافِعَ الْوَضَعَةِ ، لَا تُجِعْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ مُحَمَّدٍ " . فَرَأَيْتُ صُفْرَةَ الْجُوعِ قَدْ ذَهَبَتْ عَنْ وَجْهِهَا وَظَهَرَ الدَّمُ ، ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُهَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَتْ : مَا جُعْتُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ يَا عِمْرَانَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عُتْبَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ وُثِّقُوا .
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came and stood facing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Fatimah, come closer. She came closer. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Fatimah, come closer. She came closer still. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Fatimah, come closer. She came even closer, until she stood right in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I saw a paleness on her face; the blood had drained from it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) spread his fingers and then placed his hand on her chest, then raised his head and made this supplication: "O Allah, Satisfier of hunger, Fulfiller of needs, Raiser of the lowly! Do not leave Fatimah bint Muhammad hungry." The narrator says: I saw that the paleness of hunger left her face and the blood returned. After that I asked her about this, and she said: O Imran! I have never felt hungry since then.
