وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : مَا رَأَيْتُ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ فَاطِمَةَ غَيْرَ أَبِيهَا . قَالَتْ : وَكَانَ بَيْنَهُمَا شَيْءٌ ؟ فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، سَلْهَا فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَكْذِبُ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، إِلَّا أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا قَطُّ أَصْدَقُ مِنْ فَاطِمَةَ . وَرِجَالُهُمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I have not seen anyone more virtuous than Fatimah, except her father. Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Once there was some matter between the two of them, and Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Messenger of Allah! Ask Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), for she does not tell untruths.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it, but with these words: "I have never seen anyone more truthful than Fatimah." The narrators of both narrations are the narrators of the Sahih.
