Hadith Beginning with the Letter Qaf (ق)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A grateful heart, a tongue that remembers (Allah), and a righteous wife who helps you in the affairs of your religion and your world - this is the best treasure that people can amass."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whatever intoxicates in a large quantity, even a small quantity of it is unlawful."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I stood at the gate of Paradise and saw that most of those who entered it were the poor (the needy), while the wealthy were held back - except for the people of the Fire, for they had already been ordered to the Fire. And I stood at the gate of the Fire and saw that most of those who entered it were women."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The legs of my pulpit are firmly set in Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The survival of my Ummah is (also) by means of its worst people."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Say: O Allah, send Your mercy upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), the unlettered Prophet, and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your mercy upon the family of Ibrahim; and send Your blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), the unlettered Prophet, as You sent Your blessings upon the family of Ibrahim among the worlds; indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. And as for the salam, it is just as you already know."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Say: O Allah, send Your mercy upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), who is Your servant and Messenger, as You sent Your mercy upon Ibrahim; and send Your blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Say: O Allah, send Your mercy upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your mercy upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim; indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim; indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Say: O Allah, send Your mercy upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), his wives and his offspring, as You sent Your mercy upon Ibrahim; and send Your blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), his wives and his offspring, as You sent Your blessings upon Ibrahim; indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Keep moderation in your speech (do not go to excess), and do not let Satan gain mastery over you."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Speak good and you will gain (reward), and keep silent from evil and you will remain safe."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Say it like this: What Allah wills, and then what you will."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Say: Peace be upon you, O believers and Muslims, dwellers of these abodes (the graves)! May Allah have mercy on those of us who have gone ahead and those who come later, and indeed we, if Allah wills, shall be joining you."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Say: O Allah, forgive me and him, and after him grant me a good recompense."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Say: O Allah, You are indeed the One who pardons, You love to pardon, so pardon me."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Say: O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens, Lord of the Mighty Throne, our Lord and the Lord of everything! Revealer of the Torah, the Injil and the Qur'an, the One who splits the seed and the date-stone to make them grow! I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything whose forelock is in Your hand. You are the First, there is nothing before You; You are the Last, there is nothing after You; You are the Manifest, there is nothing above You; and You are the Hidden, there is nothing nearer than You. Pay off my debt for me and free me from need of poverty."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Say: Here I am, O Allah, here I am, and my place (of leaving ihram) on the earth shall be wherever You hold me back. For if you have made this condition, then you are owed by your Lord whatever exception you have made."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Rise up towards a Paradise whose width is that of the heavens and the earth."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Stand up to receive your chief."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Stand up, for death has an alarm (a state of dread) to it."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Standing for one hour in the rank for fighting in the path of Allah is better than sixty years of standing (in worship)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The Children of Israel were told: 'Enter the gate prostrating and say: Hittah (forgive our sins)', but they changed (the command) and entered crawling on their buttocks, and said: A grain within a barley corn."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Take a midday nap (qaylulah, a short rest at noon), for the devils do not take a midday nap."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Tie (the camel), and then put your trust in Allah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Tie it, and then put your trust in Allah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Preserve knowledge by writing it down."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The one who takes charge (of the caliphate) after me is in Paradise, and the one who takes charge after him is in Paradise, and the third and the fourth are also in Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The killer does not inherit (from the one he killed)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The one who sits (waiting) for the prayer is like one who is devoutly obedient, and a man is counted among those praying from the time he leaves his house until he returns to his house."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Being killed in the path of Allah is martyrdom, (dying of) the plague is martyrdom, (dying of) a disease of the belly is martyrdom, drowning is martyrdom, and dying in the state of postnatal bleeding is martyrdom."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Being killed in the path of Allah is martyrdom, (dying of) the plague is martyrdom, drowning is martyrdom, (dying of) a disease of the belly is martyrdom, burning to death is martyrdom, and (dying of) tuberculosis (is martyrdom), and as for the woman who dies in the state of postnatal bleeding, her child will pull her by its umbilical cord into Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Being killed in the path of Allah expiates every sin except debt."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The one killed in the path of Allah is a martyr, the one who dies of a disease of the belly is a martyr, the one who dies of the plague is a martyr, the one who drowns is a martyr, and the woman who dies in the state of postnatal bleeding is a martyr."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The Qadariyyah (those who deny divine decree) are the Magians of this Ummah. If they fall ill, do not visit them, and if they die, do not attend their funerals."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The Qur'an is an intercessor whose intercession will be accepted, and an advocate who disputes and whose word will be believed. Whoever puts it in front of him, it will lead him to Paradise, and whoever throws it behind him, it will drive him to Hell."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The Qur'an may be recited according to seven ahruf (modes of recitation), so do not dispute about the Qur'an, for disputing about the Qur'an is disbelief."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Storytellers (preachers) are of three kinds: a ruler, one commanded (by a ruler), or one who is vain and self-conceited."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Judges are of three kinds: two of them are in Hell and one is in Paradise. A man who knew the truth and judged according to it, he is in Paradise; a man who judged between people in ignorance, he is in Hell; and a man who recognised the truth but was unjust in his judgement, he is in Hell."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Judges are of three kinds: two are in Hell and one is in Paradise. The judge who judged according to his desires is in Hell, the one who judged without knowledge is in Hell, and the one who judged according to the truth is in Paradise."
