«القتل في سبيل الله شهادة والطاعون شهادة والبطن شهادة والغرق شهادة والنفساء شهادة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Being killed in the path of Allah is martyrdom, (dying of) the plague is martyrdom, (dying of) a disease of the belly is martyrdom, drowning is martyrdom, and dying in the state of postnatal bleeding is martyrdom."
