«القتيل في سبيل الله شهيد والمبطون شهيد والمطعون شهيد والغريق شهيد والنفساء شهيدة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The one killed in the path of Allah is a martyr, the one who dies of a disease of the belly is a martyr, the one who dies of the plague is a martyr, the one who drowns is a martyr, and the woman who dies in the state of postnatal bleeding is a martyr."
