It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a windstorm overtook the people on the road to Makkah while Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) was performing Hajj. When the wind grew fierce, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked those around him: What is the wind? No one gave him an answer. Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When I learned of this, I urged my mount on until I reached him and said: O Commander of the Believers! I have been told that you asked about the wind. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The wind is from the mercy (rawh) of Allah Almighty; it sometimes brings mercy and sometimes punishment. So do not revile it; rather, ask Allah for its good and seek refuge with Allah from its evil."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to mention Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) very often. I said (out of jealousy): Allah has given you a replacement for an old woman from among the old women of Quraysh (Hammad sometimes said "akhlafaka" and sometimes "a'qabaka", meaning Allah has given you better in her place), one with red gums (meaning her teeth had fallen out from old age), who passed away long ago. Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: (On hearing this) the colour of his (peace and blessings be upon him) face changed, a change I had only seen at the descent of revelation, or on his seeing clouds with thunder and lightning, until he (peace and blessings be upon him) knew whether these clouds were of mercy or of punishment.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
