أخبرنا الشيخ أبو بكر بن إسحاق، أخبرنا إسماعيل بن قُتيبة، حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى، أخبرنا أبو معاوية، حدثنا الأعمش، عن شقيق قال: اشتكى رجلٌ بطنَه من الصَّفَر، فنُعِتَ له السَّكَرُ، فذكر ذلك لعبد الله، فقال: إِنَّ الله لم يَجْعَلْ شَفاءَكم فيما حَرَّم عليكم (3).

It is narrated from Shaqiq that a man suffered from yellow bile (safar) in his stomach, and an intoxicating drink (al-sakar) was prescribed for him. When this was mentioned to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has not placed your cure in what He has made unlawful for you."

وحدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا بحر بن نصر، حدثنا عبد الله ابن وهب، أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث، أنَّ عبدَربّ ن سعيد حدثه، أنه سمع نافعًا يقول: كان ابنُ عمر إذا دعا طبيبًا يُعالج بعضَ أهله (1)، اشتَرَط عليه أن لا يُداويَ بشيءٍ مما حرَّم الله ﷿ (2).

It is narrated from Nafi' that he said: When Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) called a physician to treat a member of his household, he would stipulate that he not treat with anything that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has made unlawful.

أخبرني عبد الرحمن بن حَمْدان الجلَّاب بهَمَذان، حدثنا إبراهيم بن نصر، حدثنا حَرَميُّ بن حَفْص (3)، حدثنا عبد العزيز بن مسلم (4)، حدثنا محمد بن عمرو، عن أبي سلمة، عن أبي هريرة قال: أتتِ امرأةٌ النبيَّ ﷺ، فذكرت أنَّ بها طَيْفًا من الشيطان، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: "إن شئتِ دعوتُ الله ﷿ فبرَّأَكِ، وإنْ شئتِ، فلا حسابَ ولا عذابَ" قالت: يا رسولَ الله، فدَعْني إذًا (5).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said that she was affected by the touch of Satan (epilepsy or madness). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you wish, I will supplicate to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and He will cure you; and if you wish, (be patient with this illness,) and then there will be no reckoning and no punishment for you." The woman said: "O Messenger of Allah, then I will (be patient)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

حدثني طاهر بن محمد (6) بن الحسين البيهقي بيحي آباد، حدثنا خالي الفضل بن محمد بن المسيَّب، حدثنا سعيد بن أبي مريم، حدثنا الليث بن سعد، حدثني زِيادة (1) بن محمد الأنصاري، عن محمد بن كعب القُرَظي، عن فَضَالة بن عُبيد أنه قال: جاء رجلانِ من أهل العراق يَلتَمسانِ الشِّفاءَ لأَبٍ لهما حُبِسَ بَوْلُهُ، فَدَلَّه القومُ على فَضَالة، فجاء الرجلان ومعهما، فَضَالة، فذَكَرا الذي بأبيهما، فقال فضالة: سمعتُ رسولَ الله ﷺ يقول: "مَنِ اشتكى منكم شيئًا -أو اشتكى أخٌ له- فليقل: ربَّنا الذي في السَّماءِ تقدَّسَ اسمُك، أمرُك في السماءِ والأرض، كما رحمتك في السماء والأرض، اغفِرْ لنا حُوبَنا وخَطايانا يا ربَّ الطَّيِّبِينَ، أَنزِلْ شِفاءٌ من شِفائِكَ ورحمةً من رحمتِكَ على هذا الوَجَعِ، فيبرأَ" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Fadalah bin Ubayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that two men from the people of Iraq came seeking a cure for their father, whose urine had been retained. The people directed them to Fadalah. The two of them came to Fadalah and mentioned their father's ailment, and Fadalah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever among you suffers from something, or whose brother suffers, let him recite this supplication: 'Rabbana alladhi fi al-sama'i taqaddasa ismuka, amruka fi al-sama'i wa al-ard, kama rahmatuka fi al-sama'i wa al-ard, ighfir lana hubana wa khatayana ya Rabba al-tayyibin, anzil shifa'an min shifa'ika wa rahmatan min rahmatika 'ala hadha al-waja'' (Our Lord who is in the heaven, holy is Your name; Your command prevails in the heaven and the earth; just as Your mercy is in the heaven, (send it down) likewise upon the earth. O Lord of the pure, forgive us our sins and our faults; send down a healing from Your healing and a mercy from Your mercy upon this pain), and he will be cured."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith Takhrij «إسناده ضعيف جدًا، لضعف زيادة بن محمد الأنصاري، والمعروف في هذا الحديث أنه من رواية فضالة بن عبيد عن أبي الدرداء، هكذا رواه جمع عن سعيد بن أبي مريم، وإسقاط أبي الدرداء هنا وجعلُه من حديث فضالة بن عبيد وهمٌ، إما من الفضل بن محمد بن المسيب أو ممّن دونه» [ترقيم الرساله 7702] [ترقيم الشركة 7610] [ترقيم العلميه 7512]
