The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) withheld the pledge from a man who had an amulet on his upper arm

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a caravan of ten riders. He (peace and blessings be upon him) took the pledge of allegiance from nine of them and held back from one man. They said: "What is the matter with this man that you do not take his pledge?!" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is an amulet tied on his upper arm." Then the man cut off the amulet, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took his pledge and then said: "Whoever hangs (an amulet) has committed shirk."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman bin Abi al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "O Messenger of Allah, Satan comes between me and my prayer and my recitation." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is a devil called 'Khinzab'. When you sense him, seek refuge with Allah from him and spit (three times) to your left." He said: I did so, and Allah removed that (whispering) from me.
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

It is narrated from Thabit al-Bunani: When you suffer pain, place your hand where it hurts, then say: 'Bismillah, a'udhu bi-'izzatillahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu min waja'i hadha' (In the name of Allah; I seek refuge in the might of Allah and His power from the evil of what I feel from this pain of mine). Then lift your hand and repeat that an odd number of times, for Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) told me that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed him in this way.
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
