وحدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا بحر بن نصر، حدثنا عبد الله ابن وهب، أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث، أنَّ عبدَربّ ن سعيد حدثه، أنه سمع نافعًا يقول: كان ابنُ عمر إذا دعا طبيبًا يُعالج بعضَ أهله (1)، اشتَرَط عليه أن لا يُداويَ بشيءٍ مما حرَّم الله ﷿ (2). It is narrated from Nafi' that he said: When Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) called a physician to treat a member of his household, he would stipulate that he not treat with anything that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has made unlawful.
(1) في (ز): أصحابه. Note / Clarification: Manuscript (Z) has the word "ashabihi" (his companions).
(2) إسناده صحيح. Grading: Its chain is "sahih". وأخرجه البيهقي 10/ 5 من طريقين عن أبي العباس محمد بن يعقوب، بهذا الإسناد. Reference / Source: It was recorded by al-Bayhaqi (10/ 5) through two different routes (from Abu al-Abbas Muhammad bin Ya'qub), with this chain.
