(3). It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: O Hani! What are the people saying? Hani said: People think that you have some knowledge from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that you do not disclose. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Something apart from the rest of the people? He said: Yes. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Show me the sword. So I gave him the sword, and he took out from it a scroll on which was written: This is what I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah curse whoever slaughters for other than Allah, and whoever takes as his patrons other than his own patrons; and may Allah curse the one disobedient to his parents; and may Allah curse the one who tampers with the boundary markers of the land."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Come near the pulpit." So we came. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) stepped onto the first step of the pulpit, he said: "Amin." When he climbed the second step, he said: "Amin." When he climbed the third step, he said: "Amin." When he came down from the pulpit, we said: O Messenger of Allah! Today we heard something from you that we had never heard before. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Jibril (peace be upon him) appeared before me and said: Ruined and destroyed is the one who reaches the month of Ramadan and is not forgiven. I said: Amin. When I climbed the second step, he said: Ruined and destroyed is the one in whose presence you are mentioned and he does not send blessings upon you. I said: Amin. When I climbed the third step, he said: Ruined and destroyed is the one whose parents, or one of them, reach old age in his presence and he does not enter Paradise by serving them. I said: Amin."
