ما حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا الرّبيع بن سليمان، حدثنا أسَد بن موسى حدثنا إسماعيل بن عيّاش عن بَحِير بن سعد، عن خالد بن مَعْدان عن المِقْدام بن مَعْدي كَرِبَ، عن النبيِّ ﷺ قال: "إنَّ الله تعالى يُوصِيكم الأَقرَب فالأقربَ" (2). إسماعيل بن عياش أحدُ أئمّة أهلِ الشام إنما نُقِمَ عليه سوءُ الحفظ فقط. ومنها:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty enjoins you to be kind to your nearest relatives, and then the next nearest."

ما أخبرَناه أبو عبد الله محمد بن علي الصَّنعاني بمكة، حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم، أخبرنا عبد الرزاق، أخبرنا مَعمَر، عن الزُّهْري، عن عُرْوة، عن عائشة قالت: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "نِمتُ فرأيتُني في الجنَّة، فسمعتُ صوتَ قارئٍ يقرأُ، فقلت: مَن هذا؟ قالوا: حارثةُ بن النُّعمان، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: "كذلك البِرُّ"؛ وكان أبرَّ الناسِ بأُمِّه (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين ولم يُخرجاه بهذه السِّياقة. قال ابن عيينة (2) وغيرُه، قالوا فيه: دخل رسولُ الله ﷺ الجنةَ، ولم يذكروا فيه النومَ ولا بِرَّ أُمِّه.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I slept and saw myself in Paradise. There I heard the voice of a reciter reciting (the Qur'an). I asked: Who is this? The angels replied: This is Harithah bin al-Nu'man. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Such is the reward of righteousness'; and he was the kindest of people to his mother."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs, but they did not record it with this wording. Ibn Uyaynah and other narrators reported it mentioning that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Paradise, but they did not mention sleep in it, nor kindness to his mother.

حدثنا بكر بن محمد الصَّيرَفي بمَرْو، حدثنا أبو قِلابةَ (ح) وحدثنا علي بن حَمْشاذ العَدْل، حدثنا الحسن بن سهل المُجَوَّز، حدثنا أبو عاصم، عن ابن جُريج، حدثني محمد بن طلحة بن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن، عن أبيه، عن معاوية بن جاهِمةَ: أنَّ جاهمةَ أَتى النبيَّ ﷺ، فقال: إني أردتُ أن أغزوَ، وجئتُ أَستشيرُك، فقال: "ألك والدةٌ"؟ قال: نعم، قال: "اذْهَبْ فَالزَمْها، فإنَّ الجنةَ عند رِجلَيها" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Jahimah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Jahimah came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I intend to go out for jihad and I have come to consult you. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is your mother alive?" He said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go and stay in her service, for Paradise is beneath her feet."
