The martyrdom of Jafar (may Allah be pleased with him) and the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) grief over him

It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the news of the martyrdom of Sayyiduna Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) reached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) was overcome with grief. Then Jibril (peace be upon him) came to him and said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has given Ja'far two wings stained with blood, with which he flies about with the angels."
This hadith has several chains from Sayyiduna al-Bara', but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the news of the martyrdom of Sayyiduna Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) came, we saw signs of grief on the blessed face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). A man came and said: "O Messenger of Allah! The women are troubling us, or they have overwhelmed us (that is, they are wailing excessively)." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go back to them and make them be quiet." He went and then came back, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him back three times. (Finally) he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go to them, and if they refuse, throw dust in their faces." Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I said in my heart to that man: "May Allah keep you far away! I know that you are neither fully carrying out the order of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), nor could you give yourself any peace when you realised that you would not be able to throw dust into their mouths."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: After the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), no one better than Sayyiduna Ja'far bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) has worn sandals or ridden a mount (that is, he was the most distinguished of all in generosity and nobility).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Abd al-Rahman bin Jubayr narrates from his father that when the grief of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) became intense over those who had been martyred at the battle of Mu'tah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Dajjal will be confronted by a people who are like you or even better than you." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said this three times, and then said: "Allah will never disgrace a nation at whose beginning I (Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)) am and at whose end is Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.
