حدثنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله الأصبهاني الزاهد إملاءً، حدثنا أحمد بن يونس الضَّبِّي، حدثنا يعلى بن عُبيد الطَّنافِسي، حدثنا محمد بن عَوْن، عن نافع، عن ابن عمرَ قال: استقبَلَ رسولُ الله ﷺ الحَجَرَ واسْتَلَمَه، ثم وَضَعَ شَفَتَيْه عليه يَبكي طويلًا، فالتَفَتَ فإذا عمرُ يبكي، فقال: " يا عمرُ، هاهنا تُسكَبُ العَبَراتُ" (3). هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) relates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came before the Black Stone, touched it (istilam), then placed his blessed lips upon it and wept for a long time. Then he turned and saw that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was also weeping. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Umar, this is the place where tears are shed."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

أخبرني أبو بكر محمد بن المُؤمَّل بن الحسن بن عيسى، حدثنا الفضل بن محمد بن المسيّب، حدثنا نُعيم بن حمّاد، حدثنا عيسى بن يونس، حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق، عن أبي جعفر - وهو محمد بن علي بن الحسين - عن جابر بن عبد الله قال: دَخَلْنا مكةَ عند ارتفاع الضُّحى، فأَتى النبيُّ ﷺ بابَ المسجد، فأناخَ راحلتَه ثم دَخَلَ المسجد، فبدأ بالحَجَر فاستَلَمَه، وفاضت عيناهُ بالبكاء، ثم رَمَلَ ثلاثًا، ومَشَي أربعًا حتى فَرَغَ، فلما فَرَغَ قبل الحَجَر، ووَضَعَ يدَيهِ عليه، ومَسَحَ بهما وجهه (1). هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: We entered Makkah at the time of mid-morning (duha). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the door of the mosque, made his she-camel kneel, and entered the mosque. He (peace and blessings be upon him) began with the Black Stone and touched it, and his eyes filled with tears. Then he did ramal for three circuits and walked at a normal pace for four circuits until he completed the tawaf. Then he kissed the Black Stone, placed both his hands on it, and wiped them over his blessed face.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

أخبرنا أبو العباس محمد بن أحمد المحبوبي بمَرْو، حدثنا محمد بن معاذ، حدثنا أبو عاصم النبيل، حدثنا جعفر بن عبد الله - وهو ابن الحَكَم - قال: رأيتُ محمد بن عبَّاد بن جعفر قَبَّلَ الحَجَرَ وسجد عليه، ثم قال: رأيتُ خالَكَ ابنَ عباس يُقبِّله ويسجُدُ عليه، وقال ابن عباس: رأيتُ عمر بنَ الخطاب قبَّله وسَجَدَ عليه، ثم قال: رأيتُ رسولَ الله ﷺ فَعَلَ هكذا ففعلتُ (1). هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.
Ja'far bin Abdullah bin al-Hakam relates: I saw Muhammad bin Abbad bin Ja'far kiss the Black Stone and prostrate upon it. Then he said: I saw your maternal uncle Ibn Abbas kiss it and prostrate upon it, and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I saw Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) kiss it and prostrate upon it. Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) do this, so I did the same.

أخبرنا أحمد بن سَلْمان الفقيه ببغداد، حدثنا الحسن بن مُكْرَم البزاز، حدثنا عثمان بن عمر، أخبرنا ابن جُرَيج. وأخبرنا أحمد بن جعفر القَطِيعي، حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، حدثني أبي، حدثنا محمد بن بكر، أخبرنا ابن جُرَيج، أخبرني يحيى بن عُبيد مولى السائب، أنَّ أباه أخبره، أنَّ عبد الله بن السائب أخبره: أنه سَمِع النبيَّ ﷺ فيما بين ركن بني جُمَحَ والركنِ الأسود يقول: "ربَّنا آتِنا في الدُّنيا حَسَنَةً وفي الآخرة حَسَنَةً وقِنا عَذابَ النار" (1). هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Sa'ib (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say, between the corner of Banu Jumah (the Yemeni Corner) and the Black Stone: "Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire." [Surah al-Baqarah: 201]
