It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever forgetfully eats or drinks something in Ramadan and so breaks the fast, there is no make-up due from him, nor any expiation."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it with this particular wording.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fasting is not merely refraining from eating and drinking; rather, true fasting is refraining from idle talk and indecent speech.
