Hadith 13138
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ أُحُدٍ ، كُسِرَتْ رَبَاعِيَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَشُجَّ فِي وَجْهِهِ ، قَالَ : فَجَعَلَ الدَّمُ يَسِيلُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ ، فَجَعَلَ يَمْسَحُ الدَّمَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ ، وَيَقُولُ : " كَيْفَ يُفْلِحُ قَوْمٌ خَضَبُوا وَجْهَ نَبِيِّهِمْ بِالدَّمِ ، وَهُوَ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ ؟ ! " قَالَ : فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ سورة آل عمران آية 128 .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Battle of Uhud, four of the front teeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) were broken and he was also wounded on his forehead, so much so that the blood began to flow on his blessed face. Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How can a people prosper who treat their Prophet in this manner while he is calling them towards their Lord?" Then this verse was revealed: "You have no authority in the matter, whether Allah turns to them or punishes them, for they are wrongdoers."
Hadith 13139
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَوَاقِعِ نَبْلِهِ ، قال : فَيَتَطَاوَلُ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بِصَدْرِهِ يَقِي بِهِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَيَقُولُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، نَحْرِي دُونَ نَحْرِكَ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) was standing in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) shooting arrows. Sometimes, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would raise his head to look at the shower of arrows, Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) would shield his chest so that he could protect the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and would say, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), my chest is before your chest."
Hadith 13140
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : سَارَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى خَيْبَرَ فَانْتَهَى إِلَيْهَا لَيْلًا ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا طَرَقَ لَيْلًا لَمْ يُغِرْ عَلَيْهِمْ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ ، فَإِنْ سَمِعَ أَذَانًا أَمْسَكَ ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُونُوا يُصَلُّونَ أَغَارَ عَلَيْهِمْ ، قَالَ : فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحْنَا رَكِبَ وَرَكِبَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ ، قَالَ : فَخَرَجَ أَهْلُ الْقَرْيَةِ إِلَى حُرُوثِهِمْ ، مَعَهُمْ مَكَاتِلُهُمْ وَمَسَاحِيهِمْ ، فَلَمَّا رَأَوْا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ قَالُوا : مُحَمَّدٌ وَاللَّهِ وَالْخَمِيسُ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، خَرِبَتْ خَيْبَرُ ، إِنَّا إِذَا نَزَلْنَا بِسَاحَةِ قَوْمٍ ، فَسَاءَ صَبَاحُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ " ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ وَإِنِّي لَرَدِيفُ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، وَإِنَّ قَدَمِي لَتَمَسُّ قَدَمَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to attack any people, he would not attack at night but would wait until morning. If the sound of the call to prayer (adhan) was heard from there, he would stop; otherwise, he would attack. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out for the Battle of Khaybar, he reached Khaybar at night. In the morning, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mounted his ride and the Muslims mounted theirs. In short, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the city, he said "Allahu Akbar" and proclaimed, "Khaybar is destroyed! When we descend into the courtyard of a people, the morning of those who have been warned is the worst." At that time, the people were coming out with their tools to work. When they saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the Muslims, they said, "Muhammad and his army have come." Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says, "I was sitting behind Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him), and my feet would touch the feet of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
Hadith 13141
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى فِي يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ يَوْمًا وَاحِدًا ، ثُمَّ إِنَّ النَّاسَ اضْطَرَبُوا الْخَوَاتِيمَ مِنْ وَرِقٍ وَلَبِسُوهَا ، فَطَرَحَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمَهُ ، فَطَرَحَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day he saw a silver ring in the hand of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), people also had silver rings made. Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took off his ring and threw it away, and the people also took off and threw away their rings.
Hadith 13142
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُرَارَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَلَالِ الْعَتَكِيّ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ ، وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مَرَقَةٌ فِيهَا دُبَّاءٌ ، فَجَعَلَ يَتَتَبَّعُهُ يَأْكُلُهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) eating food. In front of him was a broth in which there was gourd, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was searching for it and eating it.
Hadith 13143
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ هَلْ خَضَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : لَمْ يَكُنْ رَأَى يعني مِنَ الشَّيْبِ إِلَّا يَسِيرًا ، وَقَدْ خَضَبَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ أَحْسِبُ بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ " .
Humaid says that a person asked Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) whether the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to apply dye. He replied that there were only seventeen or twenty white hairs in the front part of the blessed beard of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and old age did not bring any defect upon him. Someone asked, "Is old age a defect?" He replied, "Each one of you considers it undesirable." However, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) used to apply a dye of henna and katam, while Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used only henna as dye.
Hadith 13144
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُرَارَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَلَالِ الْعَتَكِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يَا أَنْجَشَةُ ، كَذَاكَ سَيْرُكَ بِالْقَوَارِيرِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Anjashah! Carry the glass vessels gently."
Hadith 13145
(حديث موقوف) (حديث مرفوع) قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ ، قَالَ قَتَادَةُ : حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّهُ مَكْتُوبٌ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ كفر يُهَجَّاهُ يَقْرَؤُهُ كُلُّ مُؤْمِنٍ أُمِّيٍّ أَوْ كَاتِبٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Will the Dajjal be able to enter Madinah Munawwarah?" The Noble Prophet, the Leader of both worlds (peace and blessings be upon him), replied, "The Dajjal will come towards Madinah Munawwarah but will find angels guarding it. InshaAllah, neither the Dajjal will be able to enter Madinah nor will the plague epidemic." It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Between the eyes of the Dajjal, 'Kafir' (disbeliever) will be written, which every Muslim will be able to read, whether he is literate or illiterate."
Hadith 13146
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، لَا يُؤْمِنُ عَبْدٌ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you can be a (true) Muslim until he likes for his brother what he likes for himself.
Hadith 13147
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَنْ أَبِي ؟ قَالَ : " أَبُوكَ فُلَانٌ " فَنَزَلَتْ يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَسْأَلُوا عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ إِنْ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ سورة المائدة آية 101 إِلَى تَمَامِ الْآيَةَ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man submitted in the court of the Prophet, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Who is my father?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Your father is so-and-so." Upon this, the following verse was completely revealed: "O you who believe! Do not ask about things which, if made plain to you, may trouble you."
Hadith 13148
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سعيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ أُكَيْدِرَ دُومَةَ أَهْدَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جُبَّةَ سُنْدُسٍ ، أَوْ دِيبَاجٍ ، شَكَّ فِيهِ سَعِيدٌ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْهَى عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ ، فَلَبِسَهَا ، فَتَعَجَّبَ النَّاسُ مِنْهَا ، فَقَالَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ ، لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Ukaydir of Duma sent a silk garment as a gift to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). People began to marvel at its beauty. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), the handkerchiefs of Sa'd, which have been given to him in Paradise, are better and more excellent than this."
Hadith 13149
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أَنْبَأَهُمْ ، أَنّ رسول اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ مَكْتُوبٌ كفر ، أَيْ كَافِرٌ يَقْرَؤُهَا الْمُؤْمِنُ أُمِّيٌّ وَكَاتِبٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Between the eyes of the Dajjal, 'Kafir' (disbeliever) will be written, which every Muslim will be able to read, whether he is illiterate or literate."
Hadith 13150
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَا صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْجَزَ صَلَاةً ، وَلَا أَتَمَّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have not seen anyone who performed prayer more perfectly and concisely than the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Hadith 13151
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يَكُونَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا سِوَاهُمَا ، وَحَتَّى يُقْذَفَ فِي النَّارِ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَنْ يَعُودَ فِي الْكُفْرِ بَعْدَ أَنْ نَجَّاهُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ ، وَلَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ وَلَدِهِ وَوَالِدِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you can be a believer until Allah and His Messenger are more beloved to him than anyone else, and a person dislikes returning to disbelief after Allah has saved him from it just as he dislikes being thrown into the fire. And none of you can be a believer until I become more beloved to him than his father, his children, and all people.
Hadith 13152
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَنْصُورًا ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ طَلْقَ بْنَ حَبِيبٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِهِ .
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
Hadith 13153
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ ، ثُمَّ رَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ ، فَلَمَّا عَلَا جَبَلَ الْبَيْدَاءِ أَهَلَّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Zuhr prayer, then mounted his ride, and when he ascended the mountain of Bida, he recited the Talbiyah.
Hadith 13154
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ سَأَلُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُرِيَهُمْ آيَةً ، فَأَرَاهُمْ انْشِقَاقَ الْقَمَرِ مَرَّتَيْنِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the people of Makkah requested the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to show a miracle, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) showed them the miracle of the splitting of the moon twice.
Hadith 13155
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ شَجَرَةً يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فِي ظِلِّهَا مِائَةَ عَامٍ لَا يَقْطَعُهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In Paradise, there is a tree under whose shade, if a rider travels for a hundred years, even then its shade would not end.
Hadith 13156
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " بَيْنَا أَنَا أَسِيرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، إِذْ عَرَضَ لِي نَهَرٌ حَافَّتَاهُ قِبَابُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ الْمُجَوَّفِ ، فَقُلْتُ : مَا هَذَا يَا جِبْرِيلُ ؟ قَالَ : هَذَا الْكَوْثَرُ الَّذِي أَعْطَاكَ رَبُّكَ ، قَالَ : فَأَهْوَى الْمَلَكُ بِيَدِهِ ، فَأَخْرَجَ مِنْ طِينِهِ مِسْكًا أَذْفَرَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I entered Paradise and suddenly saw a river, on both banks of which were tents made of pearls. I put my hand into it and caught something flowing in the water, and it was fragrant musk. I asked Jibreel Amin, "What is this?" He replied, "This is the River Kawthar which Allah has granted to you."
Hadith 13157
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْشِي ، حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ قَرِيبًا مِنْهُ ، قَالَ : أَتَاهُ شَيْخٌ أَوْ رَجُلٌ ، قَالَ : مَتَى السَّاعَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " وَمَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا ؟ " فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ : وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ ، مَا أَعْدَدْتُ لَهَا مِنْ كَثِيرِ صَلَاةٍ وَلَا صِيَامٍ ، وَلَكِنِّي أُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ، قَالَ : " فَأَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when will the Hour (Day of Judgment) be established?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "What preparation have you made for the Hour?" He said, "I have not prepared many good deeds, but I do love Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "A person will be with whom he loves on the Day of Judgment."
Hadith 13158
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : قَنَتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِشْرِينَ يَوْمًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited Qunoot Nazilah in the Fajr prayer for twenty days.
Hadith 13159
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " صَرَخَ بِهِمَا جَمِيعًا ، أَوْ لَبَّى بِهِمَا جَمِيعًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the Talbiyah for both Hajj and Umrah.
Hadith 13160
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، وَعَفَّانُ ، المعنى ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ فَتًى مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْجِهَادَ ، وَلَيْسَ لِي مَالٌ أَتَجَهَّزُ بِهِ ، فَقَالَ : " اذْهَبْ إِلَى فُلَانٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ كَانَ تَجَهَّزَ وَمَرِضَ ، فَقُلْ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقْرِئُكَ السَّلَامَ ، وَيَقُولُ لَكَ : ادْفَعْ إِلَيَّ مَا تَجَهَّزْتَ بِهِ " فَقَالَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا فُلَانَةُ ، ادْفَعِي إِلَيْهِ مَا جَهَّزْتِنِي بِهِ ، وَلَا تَحْبِسِي عَنْهُ شَيْئًا ، فَإِنَّكِ وَاللَّهِ إِنْ حَبَسْتِ عَنْهُ شَيْئًا ، لَا يُبَارِكُ اللَّهُ لَكِ فِيهِ " ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ : إِنَّ فَتًى مِنْ أَسْلَمَ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a young man from the Ansar came and submitted in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I want to participate in jihad but I do not have enough money to arrange for the necessities of travel." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Go to such-and-such Ansari, for he had made preparations but has fallen ill. Go to him and say that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sends you greetings of peace and says: 'The travel provisions you had prepared, give them to me.'" That Ansari went and conveyed the message to the concerned companion. He told his wife, "Whatever travel provisions you had prepared for me, give all of them to him and do not withhold anything, for by Allah! If you withhold anything from it, there will be no blessing in it."
Hadith 13161
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، وَعَفَّانُ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ ، خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا ، وَلَقَابُ قَوْسِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ ، خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Striving in the way of Allah for a morning or an evening is better than the world and whatever is in it, and the space of a bow in Paradise is better than the world and whatever is in it.
Hadith 13162
(حديث قدسي) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، وَعَفَّانُ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُؤْتَى بِالرَّجُلِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، فَيَقُولُ لَهُ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ ، كَيْفَ وَجَدْتَ مَنْزِلَكَ ؟ فَيَقُولُ : أَيْ رَبِّ خَيْرُ مَنْزِلٍ ، فَيَقُولُ سَلْ وَتَمَنَّ ، فَيَقُولُ : مَا أَسْأَلُ وَأَتَمَنَّى إِلَّا أَنْ تَرُدَّنِي إِلَى الدُّنْيَا ، فَأُقْتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ ، لِمَا يَرَى مِنْ فَضْلِ الشَّهَادَةِ ، وَيُؤْتَى بِالرَّجُلِ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ ، فَيَقُولُ لَهُ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ ، كَيْفَ وَجَدْتَ مَنْزِلَكَ ؟ فَيَقُولُ : أَيْ رَبِّ شَرُّ مَنْزِلٍ ، فَيَقُولُ لَهُ : أَتَفْتَدِي مِنْهُ بِطِلَاعِ الْأَرْضِ ذَهَبًا ؟ فَيَقُولُ : أَيْ رَبِّ نَعَمْ ، فَيَقُولُ : كَذَبْتَ ، قَدْ سَأَلْتُكَ أَقَلَّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَأَيْسَرَ فَلَمْ تَفْعَلْ ، فَيُرَدُّ إِلَى النَّارِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, a man from among the people of Paradise will be brought, and Allah Almighty will ask him, "O son of Adam! How did you find your abode?" He will reply, "O Lord! I found the best abode." Allah Almighty will say, "Ask and express your wish." He will submit, "My request and wish is only that You send me back to the world and I may be martyred in Your path ten times over," because he will have seen the virtue of martyrdom. A person from among the people of Hell will be brought, and Allah will ask him, "O son of Adam! How did you find your abode?" He will say, "O Lord! The worst abode." Allah will say, "If you had everything on the face of the earth, would you give it all as ransom?" He will say, "Yes!" Allah will say, "You are lying. I had asked you for something much lighter than this in the world, but you did not fulfill it." Thus, he will be returned to Hell.
Hadith 13163
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ فِي دُعَائِهِ : " اللَّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً ، وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً ، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ " ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ : فَقُلْتُ لِثَابِتٍ : أَسَمِعَهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to frequently supplicate: O Allah! Grant us goodness in this world and grant us goodness in the Hereafter and save us from the punishment of Hell.
Hadith 13164
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ ثُمَّ نَحَرَ الْبُدْنَ ، وَالْحَجَّامُ جَالِسٌ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِلْحَجَّامِ : وَوَصَفَ هِشَامٌ ذَلِكَ وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى ذُؤَابَتِهِ فَحَلَقَ أَحَدَ شِقَّيْهِ ، الْأَيْمَنَ ، وَقَسَمَهُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ ، وَحَلَقَ الْآخَرَ ، فَأَعْطَاهُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had finished stoning the Jamrah Aqabah and sacrificing the animal, he had cupping done and presented the right side of his head to the barber first. The barber cut the hair from that side, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave those hairs to Hazrat Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him). Then he had the hair on the left side shaved and gave those hairs to the common people.
Hadith 13165
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ثَابِتًا الْبُنَانِيَّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَا يَتَمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ الْمَوْتَ مِنْ ضُرٍّ أَصَابَهُ ، فَإِنْ كَانَ لَا بُدَّ فَاعِلًا ، فَلْيَقُلْ اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مَا كَانَتْ الْحَيَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي ، وَتَوَفَّنِي مَا كَانَتْ الْوَفَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you should wish for death because of any hardship that befalls him. If wishing for death becomes necessary, then he should say: O Allah! Keep me alive as long as life is better for me, and grant me death when death is better for me.
Hadith 13166
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ زَيْدٍ ، وَعَبْدَ الْعَزِيزِ بْنَ صُهَيْبٍ ، قَالَا : سَمِعْنَا أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ بِمِثْلِهِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مِنْ ضُرٍّ نَزَلَ بِهِ " .
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
Hadith 13167
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَنْصُورًا قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَتَى السَّاعَةُ ؟ فَقَالَ : " مَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا ؟ " قَالَ : مَا أَعْدَدْتُ لَهَا مِنْ كَثِيرِ صِيَامٍ وَلَا صَلَاةٍ وَلَا صَدَقَةٍ ، وَلَكِنِّي أُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ، قَالَ : " أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! When will the Hour (Day of Judgment) be established?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "What preparation have you made for the Hour?" He replied, "I have not prepared many good deeds, prayers, or fasts, but I do have this much: I love Allah and His Messenger." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You will be with those whom you love."
Hadith 13168
(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : مَا أَعْرِفُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا عَهِدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْيَوْمَ ، فَقَالَ أَبُو رَافِعٍ : يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ ، وَلَا الصَّلَاةَ ؟ فَقَالَ : أَوَلَيْسَ قَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا صَنَعَ الْحَجَّاجُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ؟ ! .
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say that I witnessed the blessed era of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and today I do not see anything of it remaining. Abu Rafi' asked, "O Abu Hamzah! Not even the prayer?" He replied, "Do you not know what Hajjaj has done to the prayer?"
Hadith 13169
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّهُ مَشَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِخُبْزِ شَعِيرٍ ، وَإِهَالَةٍ سَنِخَةٍ ، وَلَقَدْ رَهَنَ دِرْعًا لَهُ عِنْدَ يَهُودِيٍّ فَأَخَذَ شَعِيرًا لِأَهْلِهِ ، وَلَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ يَقُولُ : ذَلِكَ مِرَارًا : " مَا أَمْسَى عِنْدَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَاعُ بُرٍّ ، وَلَا صَاعُ حَبٍّ " وَإِنَّ عِنْدَهُ تِسْعَ نِسْوَةٍ حِينَئِذٍ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once barley bread and old oil were brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the coat of mail of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was mortgaged with a Jew in Madinah Munawwarah; the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had taken some barley from him for a few months. And one day I heard him saying that this evening, the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) does not have even a sa’ of grain or wheat; at that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had nine pure wives.
Hadith 13170
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً قَدْ دَعَا بِهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ ، وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every prophet certainly had a supplication which he made for his ummah and it was accepted, whereas I have reserved my supplication for interceding for my ummah on the Day of Judgment.
Hadith 13171
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَيُصِيبَنَّ نَاسًا سَفْعٌ مِنَ النَّارِ ، عُقُوبَةً بِذُنُوبٍ عَمِلُوهَا ، ثُمَّ لَيُدْخِلُهُمْ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ ، يُقَالُ لَهُمْ : الْجَهَنَّمِيُّونَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Some people will be admitted to Hell because of their sins, and when they are burnt and become like coal, they will be admitted to Paradise. (The people of Paradise will ask: Who are these people?) It will be said to them: These are the people of Hell.
Hadith 13172
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا روح ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي دُعَائِهِ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ ، وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ ، وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا ، وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَمَاتِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, cowardice, miserliness, the trial of Dajjal, and the punishment of the grave.
Hadith 13173
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الْجَنَّةَ ثَلَاثًا ، قَالَتْ الْجَنَّةُ : اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ ، وَمَنْ اسْتَعَاذَ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ ثَلَاثًا ، قَالَتْ النَّارُ : اللَّهُمَّ أَعِذْهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever asks for Paradise three times, Paradise itself says, "O Allah! Grant this servant entry into me." And whoever seeks refuge from Hell three times, Hell itself says, "O Allah! Save this servant from me."
Hadith 13174
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يَصُومُ حَتَّى يُقَالَ : قَدْ صَامَ ، وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى يُقَالَ : قَدْ أَفْطَرَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to fast, people would inform each other that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had made the intention to fast, and when he broke his fast, people would also inform each other that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had broken his fast.
Hadith 13175
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا التَّيَّاحِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " يَسِّرُوا وَلَا تُعَسِّرُوا ، وَأَسْكِنُوا وَلَا تُنَفِّرُوا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Create ease, do not create difficulties; give comfort, do not spread hatred.
Hadith 13176
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَلْمٍ الْعَلَوِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " كُنْتُ أَخْدُمُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَكُنْتُ أَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنٍ ، فَجِئْتُ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا بُنَيَّ ، إِنَّهُ قَدْ حَدَثَ أَمْرٌ ، فَلَا تَدْخُلْ عَلَيَّ إِلَّا بِإِذْنٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I used to serve the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and would enter the house of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) without permission. One day, as usual, I entered the house of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he said, "Son! A new command has come from Allah, so now do not enter without permission."
Hadith 13177
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : أنَّ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : " لَوْ أُهْدِيَ إِلَيَّ كُرَاعٌ لَقَبِلْتُ ، وَلَوْ دُعِيتُ " ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ إِلَيْهِ ، وَقَالَ رَوْحٌ عَلَيْهِ لَأَجَبْتُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If I am given even a sheep’s hoof as a gift from somewhere, I will accept it, and if I am invited only to that, I will accept the invitation as well.
