It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Maintain moderation in prostrations, and none of you should spread his hands like a dog.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that there was a man who was very heavy and could not come repeatedly to pray with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he did not have the strength to come again and again to pray with him, and requested that if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would come to his house one day and pray at a certain place, then he would perform his prayers there. So, he once arranged an invitation and called the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and sprinkled water on a corner of a mat. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed two rak‘ahs there. A man from the family of Jarud, upon hearing this, asked Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) whether the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray the Duha prayer. He replied that he had only seen the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform that prayer on that day.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once in the month of Ramadan, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out and led a short prayer and then left. After quite some time, he came again and led a short prayer and then went back again and stayed inside for a long time. When morning came, we said, "O Messenger of Allah! We were sitting here tonight, you came and led a short prayer and then went home for a long time?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "It was because of you that I did so."
