He replied: "Directly in front of the door of the Ka'bah, between two pillars." In the meantime, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived and knocked loudly on the door. When the door was opened, he said to Sayyiduna Amir Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him): "You knew that I also knew this matter just as Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) did (so why did you ask him about it?) The real issue is that you are jealous of me."

Then Umar was brought and weighed, and his pan also tilted down. Then Uthman was brought, and after weighing him, the scale was lifted."

We kept walking until the sun set. One of them said, “Prayer.” Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) did not say anything to him. (Then another reminded him, but he also did not reply to him. Then I said to him, “Prayer.”) So he said, “I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that when he was in a hurry during travel, he would combine these two prayers. I intend to combine them as well.” So we traveled several miles, then stopped and he prayed. On another occasion, Nafi’ mentioned a quarter mile.

He replied: "That is what they say." I asked, "Who says this?" He replied: "That is what they say." I asked the same question again, and he gave the same answer. Allah saved me from him that day, because when someone would ask him, "Did you really hear this from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" he would become angry and turn his attention to that person.
