Wabra reports that a man asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that if I have put on the Ihram for Hajj, can I perform Tawaf of the House of Allah? He replied: What is the harm in that? The man said: Actually, so-and-so forbids this until the people return from the “Mauqif,” and I see that the world is flocking to him, but we like you more. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) put on the Ihram for Hajj and also performed Tawaf of the House of Allah and performed Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and following the Sunnah of Allah and His Messenger is more deserving than following the Sunnah of so-and-so’s son, provided you are truthful in what you say about this.
