Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied: "Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: 'Give me water to drink.' Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'This nabidh has become turbid and dusty; shall we not give you milk or honey?' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Give us what you are giving to the people.' So he brought two vessels of nabidh to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and at that time both the Muhajirun and Ansar were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank from it, he removed it before being fully quenched, and raised his head and said: 'You have done well, do like this.'
