It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed those men who imitate women, and those women who imitate men.

He did not offer any prayer before it nor after it. Then, accompanied by Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and preached to the women and instructed them to give charity. Upon this, the women began to take off their earrings and rings, etc., and give them in charity.

He (peace be upon him) was fasting, but when he reached the place of Usfan, he (peace be upon him) had a vessel brought and placed it on his hand so that everyone could see, and then he drank from it. Therefore, Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say that a traveler has permission whether he fasts or not (he can make it up later).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once his maternal aunt, Sayyida Umm Hufaid (may Allah be pleased with her), presented clarified butter, lizard, and cheese as a gift to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate some of the clarified butter and cheese, but due to dislike, he left the lizard. However, others ate it from the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) dining mat. If eating it had been forbidden, it would never have been eaten on the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) dining mat.

They replied, "This is a very good day; on this day Allah granted deliverance to the Children of Israel from their enemy, so Musa (peace be upon him) fasted on this day." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them): "You have more right to Musa (peace be upon him) than they do, so you should also fast on this day."

Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed five rak'ahs and slept, until I heard the sound of his snoring. Then he went outside and prayed.

I asked: What is meant by weight? He said: Whoever has dates should weigh them so that he can separate and collect them.

I said to them: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) made a treaty with the polytheists at the place of Hudaybiyyah, so he said to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Ali! Write: This is the agreement according to which Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), has made peace." The polytheists of Quraysh said: If we considered you to be the Messenger of Allah, we would never fight you. Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ali! Erase it. O Allah! You know that I am Your Messenger. Ali! Erase it and write: This is the agreement which Muhammad bin Abdullah has made." I said to the Khawarij: By Allah! The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was better than Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and he erased his own name, but by erasing it from the document, he did not cease to be a Prophet. Have I come out of this (i.e., am I free from blame)? The people said: Yes!
