Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the right of the wife of one of us over him?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That he feeds her when he eats, clothes her when he clothes himself, does not strike the face, and does not keep away from her except within the house."
Hadith Referenceالمعجم الكبير للطبراني / باب الميم / 17083
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah does not accept the repentance of a servant who commits shirk after his Islam."
And I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever goes to one of his relatives and asks him for some of his surplus wealth, and he refuses him, Allah will turn that wealth into a snake that will bite him."
Hadith Referenceالمعجم الكبير للطبراني / باب الميم / 17084
Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I did not come to you until I had sworn, as many times as the number of these fingers of mine, that I would not come to you. So by the One who sent you with the truth, with what has Allah sent you?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "With Islam." I said: "What is Islam?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That you surrender your heart to Allah, turn your face towards Allah, perform the obligatory prayer and pay the obligatory zakah. (Muslims are to one another) two brothers and helpers. Allah does not accept the repentance of a servant who commits shirk after his Islam."
And I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "You will be gathered here" and he (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed with his hand towards Syria (al-Sham) "on foot, riding, and on your faces. You will be presented before Allah with your mouths sealed, and the first thing to testify about each of you will be his thigh."
And I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "You complete the number of seventy nations; you are the last of them and the most honoured of them before Allah."

Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "I swore, as many times as the number of these" and he pointed to his fingers "that I would not follow you nor follow what you have brought. So I ask you by Allah: what is your religion with which Allah has sent you?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He has sent me with Islam." I said: "What is Islam?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That you say: 'I have surrendered myself to Allah and I have turned my face towards You,' and that you establish the prayer and pay the zakah. (Muslims are to one another) two brothers and helpers. Allah does not accept the repentance of anyone who commits shirk after his Islam."
I said: "What is the right of our wives over us?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you eat, feed them; when you clothe yourself, clothe them; do not strike the face, do not revile, and do not keep away except within the house."
Then he said: "You will be gathered here" and he (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed towards Syria (al-Sham) "on foot and riding, and you will be dragged on your faces. On the Day you come to Allah, your mouths will be sealed, and the first thing to testify about each of you will be his thigh. You complete the number of seventy nations; you are the last of them and the most honoured of them before Allah. And whoever goes to one of his relatives and asks him for some of his surplus wealth, and he withholds it from him, on the Day of Resurrection that wealth will come to him in the form of a bald snake licking its lips.
And there was a man among those before you whom Allah had blessed with wealth and children, until a part of his life had passed and a part remained. When death came to him, he said to his family: 'What kind of man have I been to you?' They said: 'The best of men.' He said: 'I will surely take back everything I gave you, unless you do what I command you.' They said: 'All of us will do whatever you command us.' He said: 'When I die, burn me in the fire, then when I have become charcoal, grind me to powder, then scatter me on a windy day.' Then Allah summoned him as he had been, and said: 'What made you do what you did?' He said: 'Fear of You, O my Lord.' So by my Lord, Allah made amends for him (that is, He forgave him)."
