يحيى بن جابر الطائي، عن حكيم بن معاوية
Yahya bin Jabir al-Ta'i from Hakim bin Mu'awiyah
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17082 — he came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَابِرٍ الطَّائِيِّ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ رَبُّنَا بِمَ أَرْسَلَكَ إِلَيْنَا؟، قَالَ: «تَعْبُدُ اللهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا، وَتُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ، وَتُؤْتِي الزَّكَاةَ، وَكُلُّ مُسْلِمٍ مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ مُحَرَّمٌ، هَذَا دِينُكَ أَيْنَمَا تَكُنْ يَكْفِكَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, with what has our Lord sent you to us?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That you worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, establish the prayer and pay the zakah; and every Muslim is inviolable to every other Muslim. This is your religion; wherever you are, it will suffice you."
