عَنِ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ : مُدْمِنُ خَمْرٍ ، وَقَاطِعُ رَحِمٍ ، وَمُصَدِّقٌ بِسِحْرٍ ، وَمَنْ مَاتَ مُدْمِنَ خَمْرٍ سَقَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ نَهْرِ الْغُوطَةَ " . قِيلَ : وَمَا نَهْرُ الْغُوطَةِ ؟ قَالَ : " نَهْرٌ يَجْرِي مِنْ قُرُوحِ الْمُومِسَاتِ ، يُؤْذِي أَهْلَ النَّارِ بِرِيحِ فُرُوجِهِمْ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ وَأَبِي يَعْلَى ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Three people will not enter Paradise: the habitual drinker of wine, the one who severs ties of kinship, and the one who believes in magic. And whoever dies while habitually drinking wine, Allah Almighty will make him drink from the River of Ghutah. It was asked: What is the River of Ghutah? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is a river in which the filth of prostitutes flows, and the stench of their private parts will torment the people of Hell."
Ahmad, Abu Ya'la and al-Tabarani recorded it. The narrators of Ahmad and Abu Ya'la are thiqat (trustworthy).

وَعَنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ صَاحِبُ خَمْسٍ : مُدْمِنُ خَمْرٍ ، وَلَا مُؤْمِنٌ بِسِحْرٍ ، وَلَا قَاطِعُ رَحِمٍ ، وَلَا كَاهِنٌ ، وَلَا مَنَّانٌ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عَطِيَّةُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Five kinds of people will not enter Paradise: the habitual drinker of wine, the one who believes in magic, the one who severs ties of kinship, the soothsayer, and the one who reminds others of his favours."

وَعَنِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا يَلِجُ حَائِطَ الْقُدُسِ مُدْمِنُ الْخَمْرِ ، وَلَا الْعَاقُّ [لِوَالِدَيْهِ] ، وَلَا الْمَنَّانُ عَطَاءَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَا يَلِجُ جِنَانَ الْفِرْدَوْسِ " . وَالَّطَبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَقَالَ : " حَظِيرَةَ الْقُدْسِ " . وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ لِسُوءِ حِفْظِهِ .

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The habitual drinker of wine, or the one who is disobedient to his parents, or the one who gives something and then reminds of the favour, will not enter the garden of al-Quds."
Ahmad and al-Bazzar recorded it; however, he recorded these words: "will not enter the Gardens of al-Firdaws." Al-Tabarani
recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and recorded these words: "will not enter Hazirat al-Quds." Its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin Zayd, in whom there is weakness because of his poor memory.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever of my Ummah dies in a state where he drinks wine, Allah Almighty will forbid him from drinking it in Paradise; and whoever of my Ummah dies in a state where he wears gold jewellery, Allah Almighty will forbid him from wearing it in Paradise."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The habitual drinker of wine, if he dies, will appear before Allah Almighty like one who worships an idol."
Ahmad, al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani recorded it. The narrators of Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih; however, Ibn al-Munkadir says: This hadith was narrated to me from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both). The chain of al-Tabarani contains a narrator, Yazid bin Abi Fakhitah, and I do not know him; the remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).

قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيَّ ، لِأَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُصِيبُونَ ذُنُوبًا حَتَّى وَجَدْتُ ذَلِكَ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى فِي الْعَاقِّ : فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَنْ تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوا أَرْحَامَكُمْ . الْآيَةَ .
وَفِي الْمَنَّانِ : لَا تُبْطِلُوا صَدَقَاتِكُمْ بِالْمَنِّ وَالْأَذَى . الْآيَةَ .
وَفِي الْخَمْرِ : إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنْصَابُ وَالْأَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ . الْآيَةَ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ : "فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ" .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ عَتَّابَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ لَمْ أَعْرِفْ لَهُ مِنْ مُجَاهِدٍ سَمَاعًا .
قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيَّ ، لِأَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُصِيبُونَ ذُنُوبًا حَتَّى وَجَدْتُ ذَلِكَ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى فِي الْعَاقِّ : فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَنْ تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوا أَرْحَامَكُمْ . الْآيَةَ .
وَفِي الْمَنَّانِ : لَا تُبْطِلُوا صَدَقَاتِكُمْ بِالْمَنِّ وَالْأَذَى . الْآيَةَ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The habitual drinker of wine, the one who is disobedient (to his parents), and the one who reminds others of his favours will not enter Paradise." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: This was a cause of great distress to me, because the believers do commit sins, until I found in the Book of Allah Almighty, regarding the disobedient person: "Would you then, if you became rulers, cause corruption in the land and sever your ties of kinship?" And about the one who reminds others of his favours: "Do not invalidate your charity by reminders of your favours and by causing hurt." And about wine I found this: "Indeed, wine, gambling, idols and divining arrows", the verse continuing up to: "so avoid them."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy); however, I do not know of Attab bin Bashir having heard from Mujahid.

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The one who habitually drinks wine is like one who worships an idol."

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مُدْمِنُ خَمْرٍ ، وَلَا مَنَّانٌ بِعَمَلِهِ ، وَلَا عَاقٌّ لِوَالِدَيْهِ " .
