وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي وَهُوَ يَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ ، حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ شُرْبَهَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَمَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي وَهُوَ يَتَحَلَّى الذَّهَبَ، حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ لِبَاسَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever of my Ummah dies in a state where he drinks wine, Allah Almighty will forbid him from drinking it in Paradise; and whoever of my Ummah dies in a state where he wears gold jewellery, Allah Almighty will forbid him from wearing it in Paradise."
Ahmad and al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
